CHAPTER 21 : Mr. Smith

Startling at the huge man who suddenly blocked my vision, embarrassment fills my sanity seeing the man I was looking for right in front of me.

“Again, why are you following me?” He sternly asked, his blank face remaining as it is, gone is the playful one, and I’d rather see the latter than him being this serious.

“I-I wasn’t…”

“You can’t fool me.” He quickly cut me off before turning around, not saying a word after that.

“H-Hey wait…”

‘Damn Cassiopeia, why did you even call him?’

He didn’t stop walking so I followed him, and exclaimed, the words I hadn’t said that day. Maybe I did, but not a genuine one or it automatically slips from my lips without thinking that he really saved my life.

“Thank you, Ezra.” His name was quite strange when it escapes from my lips, and it made him stop moving.

“Didn’t I tell you that I don’t accept such words? Time will come that you must give me back that favor.”

He started walking out after saying those words. If he says so, then be it. I just hope tha
