“For how long did you cook them?” I asked her another question in a calm tone, though.

“Not for long, Alpha. I prepared the ingredients last night, so it took me only two or three minutes to finish cooking them.” She replied to me in the same timid tone, but I got the message.

“Thanks, Mona. I will eat them in a few minutes. You can go now.” I instructed her with a faint smile.

She nodded in response and then hurriedly walked out of the room after putting a plate full
