Chapter 4

Willow hastily gave me a pile of ovulation injections.

"Callista, just take your injections and your medicine. I'm sure you'll get pregnant! Don't be lazy because you don't want pain or suffering."

The two of them nagged at me for a while before leaving.

After that, I often received taunting text messages from Willow.

"Mr. Grayson is so generous. He bought me so many supplements because it's hard being pregnant, and he feels sorry for me!"

"Oh my! Mr. Grayson has been visiting me very often lately. He keeps asking me about my secret for getting pregnant! However, I told him that not everyone is destined to have children, unlike me. You've got to cheer up, Callista!"

When I saw Willow's manipulative texts, I greedily stroked the strong chest muscles of a male model.

Once I had enjoyed the male model's services in bed, I finally replied to her.

"I'd better learn from you so that I can have a dozen children for Chase as soon as possible!"

I caressed my flat stomach. I couldn't wait to watch Willow make a fool of herself!

Six months later, Willow successfully gave birth to sextuplets.

However, all the babies were huge because she had taken too many supplements during her pregnancy. She almost died while giving birth.

I had thought that Willow would subside for a while.

However, I received a video recording taken from surveillance camera footage. It was less than a month after Willow gave birth.

In the video, Willow was wearing sexy lingerie, and she was tilting Chase's chin up as she bared her chest to him.

She said in a sultry, seductive voice, "Mr. Grayson, my womb is exquisite. Do you want to try it out?"

Chase had been with plenty of women, but never a married woman who had just given birth.

He smiled as he undressed and took Willow in his arms as he entered her.

He ploughed her like a cow as he buried his face in her bosom and began sucking furiously.

Willow bounced up and down and moaned as she asked, "Mr. Grayson, what will you do if I get pregnant before Callista does?"

Chase's eyes were filled with desire, and he grinned as he said, "Whoever gets pregnant first will be Mrs. Grayson."

"What if I'm first?"

Chase laughed softly and pinched the tip of Willow's nose. He promised. "I'd have to marry you, won't I? You little slut!"

The two of them rolled around on the bed.

I felt nothing as I watched their lascivious affair on video. Instead, I hooked an arm around a male model's neck.

Since they were trying so hard, I would have to grant them their wish!

The two-year trial period passed very quickly. I went confidently to the city hall and told Chase to come and marry me.

However, Chase arrived with my medical checkup report and looked at me as if I were trash.

"Callista, you're not pregnant at all. How dare you even think about getting married? Dream on!"

Chase's parents lived abroad most of the time, but they were back in the country. They shook their heads. "We only agreed to let you marry Chase because they all say that you're very fertile. You turned out to be incapable of having children!"

"You've wasted our investment in you. You're useless!"

In my past life, my in-laws looked down on my family background and often spoke contemptuously to me. They would even insult and belittle me.

In their eyes, I wasn't a person. I was just a breeding machine that they had bought because it had investment value.

In my past life, they were the ones who had helped their future daughter-in-law, Willow, plan the car accident that had killed me.

I glared viciously at them. I shrugged as I asked, "You're blaming me for not getting pregnant? Why don't you blame your precious son?"

Chase looked outraged and glared ferociously at me. "Callista, since you're so ignorant, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

In front of all the staff at the city hall, he announced, "I'm not going to marry this infertile woman. My wife is someone else!"

Everyone began pointing at me, unsure of what was going on.

I remained expressionless as I asked sardonically, "Oh? Who would be lucky enough to marry you, Mr. Grayson?"

Chase snorted coldly. "Marrying anyone else would be better than marrying an infertile woman like you!"

He called out toward the entrance of the city hall. "Willow, come here and marry me!"

The crowd stood on their tiptoes, eager to watch the drama unfold. They had no idea what the truth was.

However, they were shocked and cried out, "It's a ghost!"

Willow was walking slowly toward us in a pure white wedding gown with one hand on her waist.

She was nothing but a bag of bones.

However, a grotesquely huge belly protruded from her slender frame.

It looked like someone had stuffed a hundred basketballs in there, and her stomach looked like a mountain. It was sucking up all the nutrients in her body.
