Chapter 4

Jasmine~

After a time of hugging, I let go of him and said, "Let me tell you a secret," while taking from the fruits he brought.

“Okay, I'm still trying to grasp the fact that this is real and you are actually consuming the fruit I gave you rather than throwing it away.“ He said, clearly excited, and I found his smile to be quite endearing and breathtaking.

I walked to him and hit him,"Why did you hit me? I mean no harm.“

I laughed saying,“Yes,I know that,I am just trying to let you know that you are not dreaming and everything happening here is real.“ I smiled at him eating the apple I took.

“You are right,it's not a dream.“

“I was saying something some moments ago,it's a secret known by just my late mother.I love fruits a lot,I can eat fruit all day without eating food.“

“Wow,I promise to always get more fruits for you, especially apples and strawberries.“ He said with a smile.

“Thank you for helping me earlier,if you hadn't come maybe by now it would have been a different story.“ I said with a sincere heart.

“You are welcome Miss Jasmine.“

“Can you stop calling me Miss Jasmine,just call me Jasmine.“

“It's kind of weird calling you by your name when you are older than me.“

Did he just call me an old lady just because I am 29? How dare he? Does he want me to lose my temper at this moment?

“Hey,why will you say I am older? Everyone knows I look very beautiful and people never call me old.“

“I am sorry for the misunderstanding,yes you are beautiful and you look like an 18 year old lady even when you are 29,what I am trying to say is that when it comes to age you are older.“

I could not stop blushing,no one has ever told me I look like an 18 year old girl but how old is he by the way?

“Tell me,how old are you?“

“I am 25.“He replied.

“That's fair enough,besides age is just a number.“ I said and he smiled at me.

I stepped out of the room with him when I noticed he was faking to be alright,he was facing some difficulties and could not walk properly and he was just smiling to make me feel better.

I saw blood on his lower abdomen and it stained his shirt,“Are you okay?“ I questioned.

“Yes,I am perfectly fine.“

“Are you lying to me?“

“No,I am not.“

I remembered when he tried fighting those bad guys,one of them stabbed him with a knife,how can he forget about his own body just to get me food and fruits and my pills.

I feel horrible again,does that mean in my past life,he bore this wound all alone just because of me and yet I treated him badly,truly it's time to right the wrong.

“I know you got stabbed,I will give you first aid treatment,where is your first aid box,I know everyone must have one in their home.“ I said to him,

“Yes,I do have but I will be fine,you don't need to worry about me.“

“Not another word from you,you saved me and got injured because of me,it's only fair I treat you or do you wish to die by losing much blood?“ I asked him and he gave up taking his seat and pointed at the first aid box.

“Also,take off your shirt so I can get a clearer view of the place you got stabbed.“ I added and turned around to get the first aid box at the place he directed me to get it in his home.

Getting the first aid box,I noticed he hung so many pictures of me. I guess I am like his favorite when it comes to wealthy people.

I returned to meet him when my eyes almost popped out from its socket looking at him from the side,holy moil,it's just in movies I have seen a man having a well built body shape that can turn a lady on,thank sweet Jesus I got reborn to right the wrong.

In my head,I already pictured touching his hard chest and getting cuddled in his arms. How can I be so blind not to notice I have a smoky hot cleaner working in my office for a long time?

I just can't control myself from dripping and boom,the first aid box fell off my hands and I regained myself trying to pick the stuff up when our hands touched,it was like an electric spark in between us.

“Are you hurt?” He helped me up and I got a clearer view of him,he is dangerous I must say, he has sexy gray eyes.

“Yes,I am fine,let's tend to your wounds.”I said to him and he allowed me to tend to the injuries.

Touching his body alone with my hands switched on my weak side,oh no,I am just getting reborn and I am already getting attracted to the man who saved me,Jasmine. Compose yourself,you are the governor's daughter,I kept saying to myself.

“Does it hurt?“ I said after cleaning off the blood using the cotton wool and a liquid.

“Yes it does a little.“

“Don't worry,it will get healed quickly,I will cover it now." I said to him and finally I was done.

"Thank you so much Miss Jasmine.“

“And you used the word Miss again.“ I reminded him and we both started laughing,“I am sorry,with time I will get used to it.“

“You better do it." My phone rang again and it's Lavender, can she stop calling me for once? What the hell is her problem? I already told her I am safe,why is she still calling?

“Excuse me.” I said to him and he nodded.

“Lavender,I told you I am fine.“

“It's not my fault I am worried about you,now tell me,where are you? If you are home,I will feel better.” She said,

“Don't worry about me,I already got the means to get home tonight so get some rest okay and don't call back else I will turn off my phone.” I said to her ending the phone call and she is so stubborn,she called back again and I angrily turned off my phone.

“Is everything okay?“ He asked.

“Yes, everything is fine,so tell me about you,do you live here alone? Where is your girlfriend? Will she get offended if she finds me in your home?“ I started a conversation and took my seat.

He sat close to me saying,“So many questions and I don't know where to start from.“

“Then start from somewhere,I got all the time after all,I didn't feel like going home that's why I drove around.“

“I see,yes I live alone and I don't have a girlfriend.“

“What about an ex?"

“I have never dated before.“

Does he think I am a fool? How can he be so handsome and not have lots of girls in his life?

“You don't believe me? What if I told you I have never kissed a girl before.“ He moved close to me and I raised my head to respond to him when I noticed how very close we were,it was like magic. We moved slowly to each other and I closed my eyes when he placed his lips on mine and I felt completely drowned by the ocean.
