“Come on, let me speak to him.” Carlos insisted.

This boy must be feeling so important to think he could speak to my Father.

He had some nerves.

“No, you can't speak to him,” I said.

“Why??”

“I said you can't so please quit asking me why…it's beginning to piss me off,” I said.

I quickly rushed into the bathroom and ended my father's video call because I didn't want him to find out my location.

I called him back with an audio call and he picked up.

“Hey princess, why did you decline my call??” he asked.

“I am so sorry Dad I was already asleep.” I lied pretending with my sleepy voice.

“Oh, I am so sorry darling, I just wanted to check up on you and find out how you were

doing.”

“I am doing great Dad thanks for checking up on me…I do appreciate it.”

“It's nothing at all my princess, take care of yourself and I will speak to you soon okay??”

“Okay…bye Dad.”

“Bye dear,” he said as he hung up the call.
