Elena’s POV

The night pressed against the windows of Alexander’s penthouse, thick and heavy like the world itself was holding its breath. The city glittered below us cold, distant, too bright for what was happening inside my chest.

Alexander stood across the room, shoulders tense, jaw locked tight. I’d never seen him like this. Not furious. Not cold.

But wounded.

Deeply.

And all because of me.

“I didn’t hide it from you to hurt you,” I whispered, voice barely carrying across the silent room.

His eyes flicked up stormy, dark, searching. “Then why did you hide it at all, Elena?”

My fingers curled at my sides. “Because I wasn’t ready. Because Project Rebirth… everything Richard did… I’m still trying to understand who I am in all of this.”

His chest rose sharply almost like the admission cut him.

“Elena,” he said quietly, “you don’t have to understand everything alone.”

“I know,” I whispered. “But I didn’t want to fall apart in front of you again.”

A humorless breath escaped him. “I want

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   The Vow Beneath the Glass Sky

Elena’s POVThe city looked unreal from up here glass and gold and light, stretched beneath the balcony like a promise that had finally learned how to keep itself.I rested my hands on the railing, breathing in the cool night air, trying to quiet the emotions swelling in my chest. So much had happened. Too much, sometimes, to believe this life was truly mine.Ten years ago, I had died broken and betrayed.Tonight, I was alive strong, loved, and standing beside the man who had changed the course of my fate.Alexander stepped behind me, close enough that I could feel his warmth without him touching me. He had learned, over time, when to give me space and when to pull me back from the edge. This was one of those quiet moments where words weren’t necessary… yet.“You’re thinking too hard again,” he murmured.I smiled faintly. “Is it that obvious?”“To me? Always.”He reached around me then, his arms sliding securely around my waist. The simple gesture grounded me, anchoring me to the pres

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   What We Almost Lost

Elena’s POVI used to think fear had a sound.A scream. A gunshot. Glass shattering. But real fear is silent. It’s the moment after the danger passes, when your hands begin to shake and you realize how close you came to losing everything. The sea stretched endlessly beyond the balcony of the coastal estate, calm and deceptively beautiful, as though it hadn’t witnessed the chaos of the past forty-eight hours. The wind tugged gently at my hair, cool against skin still warm with lingering adrenaline.I should have been resting.Instead, I stood barefoot on cold marble, staring at the horizon, replaying every second in my mind.Richard’s final move hadn’t been loud or dramatic. No press conference. No scandal leaked to the media.Just a quiet, surgical attempt to erase me.If Alexander hadn’t arrived when he didMy breath hitched.Strong arms wrapped around me from behind before the thought could finish. Familiar. Steady. Safe.“You’re doing it again,” Alexander murmured near my ear.“Doi

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   The Cost of Knowing

Elena’s POV The city looks deceptively peaceful from the top floor of Knight Global. Glass and steel. Sunlight catching on windows. A world that believes everything is stable because it looks expensive enough to be. I know better now. Alexander stands a few feet away, on a call he hasn’t ended in the last ten minutes. His shoulders are rigid, jaw tight, the way it gets when the threat isn’t theoretical anymore. When danger has a name. A face. A deadline. I sit at the edge of his desk, fingers laced together, trying to slow my breathing. Project Rebirth. The name still echoes in my head like a curse. I thought knowing the future would give me control. That remembering my past life made me untouchable. Smarter. Untouchable women don’t wake up with cold fear crawling under their skin. “Confirmed?” Alexander asks quietly into the phone. A pause. His eyes flick to me. My stomach drops. “Lock it down,” he says. “No leaks. No movement until I say so.” He ends the call. Silence

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   The Price of Forever

Elena Dawson’s POVThe city looked deceptively peaceful from the penthouse balcony.Lights glittered like fallen stars, traffic hummed below, and the wind carried the faint scent of rain. If anyone had told me, ten years ago in my first life, that I would one day stand here as Alexander Knight’s wife his true wife, not a contract, not a shield I would have laughed in disbelief.Yet here I was.Alive. Loved. Still standing.Alexander stepped behind me, his presence warm and solid, his arms sliding around my waist with a familiarity that still made my heart stutter. He rested his chin against my temple, silent but attentive, as if listening to thoughts I hadn’t spoken aloud.“You’re thinking too loudly,” he murmured.I smiled faintly. “Is that a billionaire talent too? Mind reading?”“Only when it’s you,” he said. “And only when you look like you’re about to run into a storm alone.”I turned in his arms, facing him. The city lights carved his features into sharp lines strong jaw, unread

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   The Promise Between Heartbeats

(Elena’s POV)The city glittered beneath the balcony like it was holding its breath with me.From this height, everything looked harmless golden lights, sleek towers, polished streets but I knew better. I had lived once already through what beauty could hide. I had died because I trusted the wrong smile, the wrong promise, the wrong future. This time, I stood here alive, breathing, and painfully aware of how much I had to lose.Alexander was behind me. I didn’t have to turn to know it. His presence had always been like that—quiet, grounding, impossible to ignore. I felt him before I saw him, the way my pulse shifted, the way my shoulders relaxed even when my thoughts refused to.“You’re thinking too loudly again,” he said softly.I smiled despite myself. “You always say that.”“That’s because it’s always true.”I turned then, meeting his eyes. The city lights reflected in them, sharp and brilliant, but beneath that was something warmer. Something dangerous.Love.I had spent two lifet

  • Reborn as The Billionaire's Wife   The Vow That Changed Everything

Elena’s POVI used to think love was something fragile. In my first life, it had shattered easily under lies, under silence, under a man who smiled while pushing me toward ruin. Back then, I believed devotion meant endurance. That if I gave enough, forgave enough, stayed quiet enough, everything would work out.I was wrong.Love was never meant to be a sacrifice of self.Standing now in the quiet garden of the Knight estate, with dawn bleeding softly into the sky, I finally understood that truth with painful clarity.Alexander stood a few steps away from me, his back straight, his posture calm but I knew him too well now not to see the tension beneath it. The man who ruled boardrooms without mercy was standing here, hands clenched at his sides, waiting for my answer as though it could unmake him.Ten years ago, he had watched me walk into hell without reaching for me.This time, he had burned the world to keep me safe. The irony wasn’t lost on either of us.“I’m not asking you to deci
