ADIRA'S POV

“Recently, I have been having dreams. I never used to dream before, but I have started dreaming lately.”

I began by laying the foundation for the truth to stand on, because telling them about my past and present life was not an option.

“Just hear me out first before you start asking any questions,” I said, and they both nodded. “I remember when you asked why I suddenly refused to marry Ryder after moving in with him and insisting that I wanted to marry him. That was because it was around that time that I started to believe my dreams.

A few days before the wedding, I had three dreams, and all of them came to pass. One was about the dress Mrs Willow made me wear. Another was about an accident that happened during the ceremony. Claudia, Ryder's cousin, had purposely slipped and poured what she was carrying on me, right at the moment I was being asked my vows. It was after this particular dream came true that I realized my dreams were becoming reality.

And I knew then that the

RYDER’S POV“What are you doing? Hand over the phone to him.” I ordered. She bit her lip anxiously and held on to the phone tighter.Jackson inched closer to take it, but she quickly shifted back again.I sighed heavily, her antics pushing me to my limit. I moved closer to her to grab the phone, but she ran.“What do you think you are doing?!” I growled angrily.“I am sorry…” she cried. “Actually, I do not want anyone to see my chats with my boyfriend. Especially not a man. Can the Luna check it instead?”I was taken aback by her reason. “That is why you are running?” I asked, eyebrows arched.“Yes,” she cleaned her tears. “There are private things in there. I would die of embarrassment if someone else saw it, especially a man.” She replied.I moved away and, with my hand, gestured for Adira to take care of this. For the first time since this whole issue started, Adira broke a small smile. She stretched her hand to the girl, and she handed over the phone.Adira scrolled, looking throu

ADIRA'S POV“We were all…” the first girl started to speak when suddenly a loud sound was heard. We all paused momentarily before I realized it was the accused girl who had kicked the chair.I turned to her just in time to see her shaking her head at the girl.I moved before anything else could react. In a blink, I was where she stood. My hand came down hard against her cheek, the sound of the slap cracking through the air like a whip. Her eyes widened, and tears rolled down her reddened cheeks. “Do you think we are here to joke?” I gritted out. “You think because we are all keeping calm you can do whatever you want?” I hissed. “One more stupid act from you and I will end this and drive that cake down your throat, do you hear me?!”She nodded her head vigorously.I turned around to the girl who was supposed to speak. “What is your name?” I asked.“It is Faith,” she replied in a shaky voice.“Now listen, Faith. I did not call you here to lie or side with anyone. What I simply need is

ADIRA'S POV“Do not try to twist things!” Rose yelled at the girl. “It is the dream of every omega to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change their status. Every one of us desires to wash away this stench of being the lowest. But do you know what differentiates us from you?” She snapped. “We are not willing to do just anything to get that. Lyra is not that kind of a person; she would not accuse you without reason. And do not try to twist innocent conversations you heard into something evil.” She warned.“Look at you trying to defend her.” The girl hissed. “I am sure you are in on this plan too. My gesture of feeding the Alpha's daughter with a cake was also a kind gesture, so why are you trying to twist it into something evil?”“So you agree that you did try to feed her the cake?” Lyra asked.“Of course. I never denied that. What I said is that you should prove that the cake is poisoned.”Lyra stood up and smirked. “What you do not know about me is that I will never forget. Th

ADIRA'S POVThe sun had gone down, and it was gradually starting to get dark when we heard the commotion.“What is going on?” Ryder's angry voice bellowed, silencing the entire place.“She—” Lyra started to say, but Jackson cut her off.“Stop!” he yelled.“What are you doing?” Ryder growled, his eyes snapping to Jackson.People around watched with confusion and interest. Ryder was fuming; Lyra held Lumina tightly in her arms and was staring daggers at the girl she had been pointing at. The accused girl fidgeted slightly but kept a brave face. I, on the other hand, looked around, confused and angry.“This was not supposed to be happening today. Today was supposed to be a good day!” I wanted to yell.Jackson moved closer. “This looks like a sensitive issue, and we have outsiders watching,” he whispered to Ryder. “We cannot have any strange rumors spreading after a day like this,” he said.He was right, but I could see Ryder struggling to control his anger. Fists clenched, he looked read

ADIRA'S POVAfter preparing everything this morning, I returned home, took a shower, and dressed for the occasion. Looking around now, everything came together beautifully. I could not help but smile as I looked at the decorations and everything else. “Luna,” Mrs Wiliham called.“Yes,” I turned to face her.“Everything is ready.” She bowed. “Would you like to come see it?” she asked.“No, there is no need. I know you did a good job as always. Now hurry back home, take a shower, and dress up for your daughter's graduation celebration. Today is your special day too. You should not be stuck in the kitchen.”“Really? I can do that?” she asked, eyes filled with happiness.“Of course. Were you thinking you would stay in the kitchen? You should definitely dress up and take nice pictures with your daughter,” I said to her.“Thank you so much, Luna.” She bowed. “I am glad I listened to my daughter and prepared something to wear. She kept insisting that I do that because you would permit me to

  • Reborn for vengeance: From ashes to Luna    Chapter 146

RYDER'S POVI stood at my window in the office, admiring the beautiful decorations that were being done outside the pack. It was beautiful, to say the least. They had really done an amazing job today.“What are you looking at?” a voice asked.I jumped, startled, and glared at Jackson. “When did you come in here? Why did you not knock?” I snapped.“What are you looking at that has your mind totally off your surroundings? Neither you nor your wolf smelled my scent, noticed my presence, or heard the door open?” he asked with an accusing stare.“It is nothing.” I cleared my throat awkwardly and walked away from the window.“Nothing?” His eyes squinted in suspicion.“It is just the decorations outside. It has been quite a long while since the pack looked this beautiful and everyone looked so happy. I was just happy seeing all that,” I replied and sat down.“Ugh huh,” he muttered.“What are you doing there?” I yelled as I turned and saw him at the window.“Finding out that it is not the dec
