"You did what!?" I slammed my palm against the wall of her empty hospital room. "How could you let her go! Especially without my permission?!" I roared, my blood scorching hot.

Nurse Linda was slightly trembling. She was a kind old soul, but she had just caused me to lose her. How could she? It was never my intention to blow up like this or use my alpha tone, but at this point, I was losing control over my emotions.
