I paced around my dungeon with little or no words left inside of me to express the fear that had gripped me when I saw the Lycan king fall down on the ground. Was he going to die? Was he dead?
The sound of the trumpet coming from outside made me to turn my eyes to see if there was anyone coming to set me free from my captivity. But, there was no one.Everywhere became still. After some minutes passed, I felt a sudden urge to urinate. The urge to pass out urine was so strong that I nearly ended up peeing on my body if not for the timely intervention of Gord who saw me in my distress and decided to open the gate of my dungeon."Do not go far," Gord instructed me. "The kingdom is still trying to figure out what happened to the Lycan king."Outside, I saw some warriors of the Lycan king gathered around a temple as if they were all waiting for a priest to show up and confirm the state of their king. Nothing happened.I quickly urinated and was about to return to my dungeon when Gord took me by the hand and led me to my initial dungeon where the women from my village who were captured were inside."You are going to stay here," Gord informed me as he opened the gate of the dungeon and gently pushed me inside. As soon as Gord left, Lydia stood up and moved closer to me like a predator who had just discovered her prey."What did you do?" Lydia asked me one of the strangest thing a person would ask someone who was just coming out from a solitary confinement."I said what did you do to the Lycan king?" She repeated and looked at me straight in the eyes."I have no idea of what you are talking about," I informed her before moving away from her to look for a good spot where I could think, rethink and wrap my mind through the events that had just happened."Anywhere you go, bad luck always follows you," Lydia continued talking to me until it got to a point where I could no longer stand it."What is your problem? Why are you always on my neck? What did I do to you?""Nothing!" Lydia frowned, and before I could continue with what I was saying, she shut her mouth and sat down like a fallen bird who had quickly accepted defeat without creating room for compromise. For a while, there was silence in the room. For a brief moment, no one in the room had anything to say until someone mentioned the name of Lona, and how the Lycan king had succeeded in eliminating her when she tried to run away from him."He deserves to die," an old woman named Tila said. "The Lycan king deserves to get a taste of his own wickedness. I pray that whatever situation he has found himself is going to lead him to death."I remained silent as the other women in the dungeon joined Tila in wishing bad for the Lycan king who had fallen. I wanted to join them in wishing the Lycan king evil, but I didn't see the point of doing that because all I wanted was to return to my family."Did the Lycan king touch you?" The question Tila asked me sounded really weird to me. "Did he lay his filthy hands on you and forced you to do stuff with him that you didn't want to?""No!" I answered without raising my voice too high.In as much as I had been brought back to this dungeon to be with the women I was initially with, I still didn't want to be a center of attraction or someone who would be answer questions that I didn't feel quite comfortable with answering."The Lycan king must die," Lydia raised her voice as she looked at Tila in the face. "I watched him throw my mother on the floor, kick her hard on the stomach and called her a whole for giving birth to a stubborn child like me. Indeed! The Lycan king must die!"The voices of the women including Lydia grew quiet as Gord came back with three warriors and flames of torch that made me wonder if they were considering the option of burning us alive because of the amount of noise the women were making."Quiet!" Gord shouted at a rat that passed round him. Before the rat could cover more distance, he quickly caught hold of it, and tore it into pieces with his sharp fingernails. "Serves you right."I watched as Gord took a step backward in order to drop the torn rat in a trash can made of metal. Despite being pleased with the dead rat, I could still see the odd look in his eyes, as if something terrible had happened and be just wanted the day to end without him having to tell anyone about it."Release them!" Gord ordered the warriors he brought with him. "They are all needed in the King's private room."A line was formed. Gord led the way. Lydia was behind me, whispering words of confusion that didn't find its way inside my head. While, Tila was at the far end of the line, complaining about how badly she was treated despite her age."Stop!" Gord ordered us, and we came to a halt.He looked at the two sons of the Lycan king, and informed them that he had fulfilled their wish of bringing all of us to their presence.Ariel, the first son of the Lycan King, stood up from his sit, and walked towards us. He patted Gord on the back for always being a faithful and diligent servant of the throne, then he looked at us with fierce eyes."Who among you," Ariel’s voice was cold, "killed my father the king?"Damian and his companions walked through the forest until they reached the edge of the mountain. There they found a large rock formation shaped like a bowl. On either side of the bowl, the ground sloped downward."This is the bowl that Grandad and Uncle Zoltan used to explore in," Damian said. "Now it's the safest place in the world.""Does it lead anywhere?" Martin asked."No," Damian replied. "It's just a big hill.""Well, it can't hurt to take a quick look," Martin said. "If it doesn't work out, we can always try again later.""Good point," Damian said. "Let's see what's at the bottom of this bowl."Damian climbed down into the bowl. It was slightly higher than the bottom of the forest, but not by much."What do you think?" Damian whispered to Michael."I don't know," Michael answered. "It's hard to tell."Damian turned around and looked back at his companions. He could see Michael climbing down into
The next morning, Damian woke up and found that there were three people lying beside him. He sat up quickly and backed away from them."What are you doing in here?" he demanded. "How did you get in here?"The three figures looked at each other for a moment before the man spoke. "We're not here to hurt you," he said. "In fact, we want to help.""Who the hell are you?" Damian asked. He didn't seem to remember seeing any of these men last night."My name is Martin," the man said. "This is my brother, Mike, and this is my son, David."Martin pointed to each one in turn. "This is Martin, my older brother; Mike, my younger brother; and this is David, my son."Damian recognized the names. "Mike and David were in the group I fought yesterday. They were the ones who helped me escape from the trap that they had laid for me.""Did you kill them?" Martin asked.Damian shook his head. "They're alive," he said. "They're just
One hundred years later, Darius' grandson, Damian stood on top of a cliff as he prepared to climb a mountain."Are you sure that you are not afraid?" Chloe asked. She was Damian's wife. She had known him all his life and she was the only one who could get away with saying things like that to him without being thrown down the stairs by his father. "I have been in worse situations." He looked over at her. "But if I am wrong this time, it will be my last."Chloe knew that he meant what he said but she also knew that there were times when he was trying to convince himself more than he was trying to convince her. "There is no need for us to go up the side of a mountain together," she said. "We can leave your father here and we can take our chances."Damian shook his head. "No, we cannot do that. We must face whatever it is together." He smiled slightly. "Besides, even though Father has made me promise that I would never climb another mountain again, he
Goodbye. In the midst of the most heated fight in my life.At the point where I have overused my spiritual eyes and I have became blind.I was blind and I could not longer see and began to use my senses to fight.I could hear the tears of my loved ones.I could feel the heavy breathing of Darius as he was trying on his own his possible best to win me.Fighting blind is not an easy thing to do, I could beat my chest and say it is one of the most difficult thing anyone could ever do.I had to be careful and use my senses. For some reason I felt that Darius was also blind at this point in time after all he had been using this fire eyes for a while. There is a limit to the power your body can handle no matter how powerful one may seem to be and it was almost visible that we where reaching out limits."They have begun to reach their limits," Tomo said.I could hear everything they were sayi
The Duel!I then turned and everyone became serious again.I then appeared at the tip of one of the mountains.Darius then appeared at the tip of the opposite mountain and there was a river flowing in between us."What is our fate from here?" I asked Darius.Darius then stretched out a dagger and said, "I would defeat you."I then said, "in the last moments of our life: I would take you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong.Till my life exhausts this I would do, this is a promise," I promised."That is a lie," Darius said."Every word I said is true, this I promise you," I said.We then began fighting. The fight from the very start kicked off with brute force!Darius immediately started using his Tadara cloak. Each stike he took was like the mountains dashing out against me.I could not hold it so I had to take on my Tadara form also.I th
Preparation for the legendary duel. From all I know about Darius he has so many moves and so many fighting style.I did not even bother to think about Ariel at this time and I did not want to think about him.Darius uses both hands to wield the sword but his powerful hand is his left hand. When he enters his Tadara form he summons a beast and that beast gets stucked with him. That fusion creates a cloak called the Tadara cloak. That Cloak is made of raw Tadara energy and it is very powerful since he is a child of fire the cloak burns with fire!Apart from that Darius has power in his eyes called the fire eyes. With those eyes he could burn anything to the ground and Could create the enternal Amaetesuri flames even though he is not a member of Sangeeta's clan.He also has access to a move called the Six paths of righteousness. Where he could create a six duplicate of himself with each one of th
