Diverting My Attention

We were still at the entrance to the town and had no idea of the crowd that still waiting to greet us. "Excuse me, your majesty!" I took permission from the entourage and made my way to where I saw Vera.

Because I believed she was a ghost, I thought she was gonna disappear in an instant upon my arrival. Much to my surprise, this ghost of Vera that I saw did not disappear instead, she stood her ground.
