"Honey, come take a look at me! Something's wrong with my private parts! I think it's not working anymore!" A familiar voice rang out in my ear. I looked up in shock, and my heart skipped a beat when I saw my husband, Frank Myer.

Frank didn't care that there were other people in the clinic. He pulled down his pants and dragged me over, panic written all over his face. "Honey, you have to help me now. We've just decided to try for a baby this year!"

Seeing him so anxious, I clenched my fists tight as hatred rose inside me like a volcano waiting to erupt.

In my previous life, Frank had said he had fallen in love with me at first sight and had courted me relentlessly. We got married after just a month, and I thought we would have a happy life together.

But after the wedding, Frank quickly became distant. Every time he came home, there was always the scent of perfume of some other woman on him.

At the time, I was running for department chief, but to keep our family together, I worked all day at the hospital and did all the housework at night. I never had a moment to rest.

And then, just two months into our marriage, Frank had come to me with the news that something was wrong with his private parts.

He had begged me to cure him, swearing he would treat me well if I could fix it.

Out of the sense of duty as a doctor, I had taken his case seriously. I had found the cause and scheduled his surgery right away.

But instead of being thankful, he had started yelling at me, saying I had no medical ethics and had even lodged a report accusing me of forcing patients to get expensive treatments just for money.

Frank's childhood sweetheart, Karen White, had immediately stepped in to support his claims, insisting his condition only needed conservative treatment and that there was no need for surgery.

Her thoughtfulness won everyone's praise, and Frank had happily decided to follow her advice.

But with my experience, I could tell that Frank's condition was already severe. If he didn't get surgery immediately, he would lose any hope of being a man ever again.

I told Frank that his childhood sweetheart was wrong and that he needed surgery then and there. Still, he had refused, insisting on sticking with Karen's advice.

With no other choice, I had kicked her out and forced Frank to go through with the operation.

The surgery had been a complete success, but Karen, upset that I had kicked her out, started threatening suicide and causing trouble everywhere. The insults and abuse directed at me became overwhelming.

I thought that at least Frank would understand, but as soon as he got off the operating table, he filed a formal complaint against me, saying I had no ethics and hadn't even checked the medicine he had taken before operating. He even went as far as to say that I had forced him into a surgery that had ruined him for good, and he brought in reporters to cry about the failed surgery.

That was when Karen had taken over, giving him her so-called "conservative treatment", and he had "miraculously" recovered in just a few days.

But I had seen her methods. She had just dabbed on a bit of disinfectant and called it treatment! She had done nothing else! Yet she took credit for my work to make herself look good!

After that, she was celebrated as a medical genius and praised for bravely standing up to a corrupt doctor like me, and was subsequently promoted to department chief in my place.

It was only then that I realized that Frank had intentionally messed up his own body by taking random drugs while hiding it from me, then forced me to operate on him so that he could ruin my reputation to make way for Karen to get promoted!

Frank had been plotting against me from the start!

"Hey! Are you deaf or something?! I said my private parts aren't working! Get on with the surgery already!"

Frank's furious shouting snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at him and slowly curled my lips into a smile.

Since he had come to me for help, he had better be ready to pay the price.
