"Sir is..." Reggie trailed off, making her breaths hitch. "Fine, although we are trying to get him out of his bedroom. He hasn't stepped out since that night."

Claire's chest shivered. She pressed lips to suppress a cry of worry as she told Reggie, "Please, get him to switch his phone on. Maybe I can help a little."

"I'm afraid I can't do that even if I want to. He has broken his phone and a lot of things in his bedroom."
