EVELYN POV

“Are you serious right now? This is why you came back?” I raised an eyebrow, my voice dripping with disbelief as he let out a heavy sigh.

“You’re the only Luna most of us recognize. Some of our pack members really miss you…” he started, his tone earnest.

Before he could finish, laughter bubbled up from me. I didn’t know why it struck me as so funny, but it did. I could see right through him, he was sent by Alpha John. The desperation in his voice was obvious, as if he was trying hard to win favor with the Alpha.

“Stop wasting your time. I don’t believe you, and even if it’s true, I don’t care. Just leave, before the guards throw you out!” I warned, my voice sharp as I turned away from him. He remained seated, ignoring my command.

I picked up my phone, scrolling through the company’s website, when the waiter approached, placing a meal on the table.

“Congratulations, ma’am! You’re such a role model,” he said in a low voice, his curly hair bouncing as he smiled. I returned his

Trigger warning needed in the beginning. 24 chapters in and the male character still acts ignorant to the pain he caused.... that's just evil! As there is no third perspective from Alpha Gio I believe he is a minor character and Evelyn will finally return to the monster through a twist of events.

You would hope that Alpha Gio and Uncle Simone are the heroes or safe haven but Uncle Simone pushing her to reconcile based on circumstances makes me wonder that something is shady in all of this? This story should come with a trigger warning based on the level of abuse she endures.

Are they going to change the narrative now to make out he was deceived and actually loves her??? He wanted to take her life knowing the kidney transplant could kill her, he shows no real remorse expecting her to come back out of undeserved loyalty and pity.

  • Rejected And Betrayed: Chasing My Luna Back.   Chapter 233.

EVEYLNAnd then I slowly began noticing that the car seat was going down and then it was flat as I was now lying down as he was on top of me, he took my hands to his chest as we began to remove his button down and then he threw his shirt on the back seat with his singlet, he began to remove my gown that I was putting on, as the kiss was becoming ab aggressive one. He lay in between my legs as he releases his lips from mine and then I began to breathe heavily."John...wait..." I begged but he didn't listened to me after I was already naked, he pressed his fingers on my boobs really hard as I gasped and then for me not to make sounds he shoved his lips on mine, shutting me up and I won't lie that I don't fucking love it. I love how harsh he always was on me anytime we are having sex. And then he spread my legs really wide, my left leg was hanging on the car driver seat head, and that's how wide my legs were opened. He then shoved his two finger inside my pussy as I was about to screa

  • Rejected And Betrayed: Chasing My Luna Back.   Chapter 232.

EVEYLNWhatever I’d seen vanished in an instant, leaving only the faint chill crawling up my spine. I couldn’t explain it, but the feeling of eyes on me lingered, sharp and unsettling. Goddess, I’m getting too sensitive these days.“Babe!”I jolted, snapping my gaze forward. John was staring toward the same spot outside the window, his brow furrowed.“What are you looking at?” he asked, his voice low but alert.I forced a small shake of my head, pushing the unease down. “It’s nothing. I just… thought someone was watching me.”He studied me for a heartbeat longer before leaning back.I exhaled and picked up my knife, slicing a small piece of steak. Before I could lift it, John speared a piece from his plate and held it to my lips with a faint smile.“Try this.”I opened my mouth, letting him feed me. The rich flavor burst across my tongue, herbs and spices blending so perfectly I had to close my eyes for a moment to savor it.“Mmm,” I murmured, a smile breaking through despite the tens

  • Rejected And Betrayed: Chasing My Luna Back.   Chapter 231.

EVEYLNThe Pack Witch’s hut smelled of smoke and crushed herbs, sharp and earthy enough to sting the back of my throat. Dried flowers hung from the ceiling, their brittle petals whispering each time a draft slipped through the cracks.John sat close beside me, his knee brushing mine as we watched the witch glide across the room. Her long skirts swayed against the packed dirt floor. She carried a small wooden cup, steam curling from the green liquid inside, and crouched before Harry.“Drink,” she said softly, her voice carrying the weight of something older than the walls around us.Harry hesitated, eyes flicking from her to me, then took the cup in both hands. The scent of bitter herbs drifted stronger as he raised it to his lips. The witch straightened, her bracelets chiming faintly as she lowered herself onto the bench opposite us. “It’s the ritual’s echo,” she said, her tone calm but certain. “Nothing dangerous. The visions will fade once he accepts that the girl isn’t real. He jus

EVEYLN“Paulo, repeat what you just said.”John blocked the doorway before I could step inside the mansion. His jaw was set, eyes hard. “You need to hear this,” he muttered without looking at me.Paulo shifted from foot to foot, rubbing the back of his neck as if the words burned. “I didn’t know at first,” he began, voice low and shaky. “I was digging into Darwin, just a routine check. But the deeper I went, the worse it got. Turns out he owns shares in a clubhouse that was once sued for trafficking girls.”I felt a cold pinch in my chest. “Human trafficking?”Paulo nodded quickly. “Yeah. The case vanished overnight, like it never happened. That’s when I realized someone powerful is protecting him. So yesterday, I followed Darwin. Solomon came with me. We tailed him when he left his Pack in a black bus, the same kind Bae was seen entering.”My breath caught. “And?”“I slipped a tracker on it,” Paulo said, his eyes darting to John. “Kept following with my car.” He swallowed, his finger

  • Rejected And Betrayed: Chasing My Luna Back.   229. Ruin you.

EVEYLN“You’re going too far with the way you’re carrying things, Alpha Giovanni. I think you should slow down and let’s talk this out,” Simone said, his voice steady but sharp as he leaned forward on the table, fingers drumming a slow warning. The calm in his tone only grated on me more. How could he sound so collected when this bastard had just threatened us? My jaw tightened, nails biting into my palm as I caught Alpha Giovanni’s eyes locking on mine instead of Simone’s words.Of course. He wanted me to know exactly who held the reins here. My stomach knotted, heat pricking the back of my neck. I rolled my eyes and shifted my weight, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a flinch. Jeez, this man lived to prove a point. I’d do everything to get Simone out of the Nightshade Pack without a single stain on his name or prestige, because the Giovanni I knew now was more than capable of destroying both if it suited him.“You’re awfully quiet, Ms…” Alpha Giovanni tilted his head, his e

  • Rejected And Betrayed: Chasing My Luna Back.   228. Goes down with you.

EVEYLNThe boardroom smelled faintly of polished wood and cold ambition. Giovanni sat across the long table, his posture sharp, dark eyes fixed on the folder before him as if it were a weapon. The glow from the ceiling lights caught the edge of his jaw, making him look colder than I remembered. He’d insisted on a formal meeting, some kind of clean break from what we used to be. Fine. I showed up in the stiff blazer he requested, but not for him. Whatever we had was already ashes. He’d burned our friendship and never once looked back. Imagine claiming to love someone while dragging a past heavy enough to poison the present.Once, I would have called him a good man. Maybe a part of me still wanted to. But the truth stood between us now like a locked door, and all we could do was face each other like strangers who knew too much.Giovanni slid a stack of papers across the table. “I have here the documents outlining my offer to buy the factory...”A bitter scoff slipped from me before I co
