~Sai
We ended up sleeping on the same bed. And there we were in the morning, having a peaceful sleep when someone rained a heavy water on my body! I jumped off the bed immediately, breathing hard. “Holy jeez!” I exclaimed, getting up from the bed. Caspian also got up, and immediately rushed up to me. “What's the problem, Sai?” He inquired, brushing off the drip of water from my face. Just then, I looked up and saw a young lady holding a bucket of emptied water, glaring at me with so much contempt. “Celine?” Caspian called out, clearly not baffled by her appearance. I guess they already knew each other but that doesn't warrant her to splash that water on me. Before Caspian could speak further, she dropped the bucket in her hand, pointing her finger at me. “So you have the right to bring in another woman into this Pack, Caspian?” She squinted, as if trying to read a blurry line. “If anyone were to tell me that you'd leave me for somebody as worthless and stupid as her, I wouldn't believe it!” Caspian got on his feet immediately.”You don't understand, Celine!” His voice was low and convincing while I tried to act cool. “Sai here needed our help. I only brought here because she needed…” “You don't have the right to speak or explain anything to me, Caspian!” Celine cut him off, her face squeezed in disgust. “It's already clear enough that you cheated on me, and not just with anyone but with her! Sai Ray! The stupid and worthless daughter of that old late Alpha of Red Moon Pack!” Immediately after Celina's last statement, I gathered myself and got up to my feet. Ready to challenge her. I mean, she just insulted my father, how dare she? “Oh, you are on your feet already?” Celine backed, curling a cruel smirk on her face. “So what now? Are you going to beat me? Are you going to fight me just because I pointed out your stupid and devilish act?” I smiled with calaculted bitterness, before pointing my fingers at Celine. “I would take anything from you, Young Lady, but I won't take you insulting the people I love!” “Besides, Caspian brought me to his room. I never asked him to bring me here and what's worse? You don't even know what really transpired between the both of us and you already jumped into stupid conclusion. Who does that?” She scoffed, folding her arms. “Excuse you, Sai! For your information, Caspian here is my FATED MATE. We are Mates. And you should really learn how to obey those higher than you. You are just a slave, remember?” I wanted to speak back when Caspian stepped in between, spreading his hands. Celine's words hurt me badly. I mean, she already confessed that she was Caspian's fated mate. Which means that Caspian is already mated to another person. So, why did he have sex with me? Why did he choose to buy me to save me from Theodore when he already has another woman in his life. No matter what he said to separate Celine's fight with me, I didn't pay enough attention. I just stood there, looking at him and blaming myself for allowing him touch me when it is obvious that he doesn't love me. He only needed my body to satisfy his pleasures. This means that I am not quite lucky with men. Just when I started lovin’Caspian again, all these was already happening? He already has a mate and what's worse? He loves her too! Caspian turned to me. “Please, Sai. Can you afford not to get into a fight with Celine again?” I sniffled immediately, giving Celine a disgusting glance. “You both can settle out your dispute. I don't think I have the right to tear two fated Mates apart. I am only but a slave, so I should mind my place in this pack. Excuse me!” I turned and walked out, ignoring the smile of victory on Celine's face. She must be thinking that I am losing to her or that I am afraid of her which was the reason I said all those things but in her dreams shall I let go of Caspian. Caspian is the only person who can help me exact my Revenge on Theodore and the others who hurt me in the past. He is a HYBRID. He possessed both the power of a werewolf and a demon, and the only person to deal with Beatrice's black magic. I need to win his heart and make sure that he trusts me so much. By doing that, my mission to destroy the evil witch will come to reality. So, by stepping out of that room, Caspian will see that I am not obsessed with him and he would run after me, asking me not to be angry! And just like I predicted, it happened! As I walked out of the room in a drenched attire, I could hear Caspian calling out my name. “Sai…Sai…! Please hold on, Sai!” I smiled deeply, swimming on my success, but still walking very fast. “I said to wait, Sai. Please, Stop!” Caspian demanded, finally getting close to me. He dragged me to a stop, his eyes narrowing with emotions. “I am sorry for what happened Earlier, Sai. I was only…” “You don't have to apologize to me, Caspian!” I cut him off. “Celine is your Mate. She is your soon-to-be LUNA. You have to accept and treat her like one. I shouldn't be a burden in your relationship, Caspian! So, I'll appreciate it if you acknowledge the reason why I am in this mansion, which is to serve as your slave. So even if it is a SERVANT, wil you allow me to be one?” “i will not let that happen, Sai!” He interjected immediately, moving his hands to mine slowly. “You don't have to say all these things, Sai. You are still special to me which was the reason I bought you from Theodore. I didn't buy you so you can work as a servant. I bought you so that we can work together as a team and bring down The Inheritors of Red Moon Pack. So, please, Sai… don't be mad again!” I made sure my face was as strict as ever. Even when I wanted to smile by this beautiful words Caspian said to me, I still maintained the angered mood. All I needed to hear from Caspian was already said. So, now I am rest assured that Caspian is by my side. With this set apart, it is time to start plotting on how to ruin Theodore and Lola, as well as her mother— Beatrice! Still on the ground of what Caspian said to me, I finally lifted my lips to smile. “Thank you so much, Caspian. I promise to do everything to pay back this offer of yours!” As we smiled at each other, the warmth in my chest was suddenly replaced by a sharp, searing pain that stabbed deep into my skull. I clutched my head, gasping as the agony intensified—exhuming, raw, like a thousand needles ripping through my mind. That same pain. The very same piercing torment I felt the day Beatrice ripped my child from my womb. My vision blurred. My knees buckled, and Caspian caught me just before I collapsed. “Sai? Sai, what's happening to you?” he asked, panic thick in his voice as he gripped my hips to steady me. I could barely respond, my mouth twitching, foaming slightly. Then I felt something strange trickle from my lips. It wasn’t blood—it shimmered like liquid sapphire, glowing faintly in the morning light. “What’s going on?” I whispered, weakly raising a trembling hand to my lips. My palm caught the substance. It sparkled—a translucent blue foam, glowing like starlight trapped in water. “Why is my spit shimmering?” I whispered hoarsely, my voice barely audible over the ringing in my ears. “Am I... poisoned?” Caspian’s entire body stiffened. His eyes widened, and then—right before me—they shifted color. They turned a vivid, unnatural green. Not the green of nature, but something otherworldly—a glowing, supernatural hue, as if a galaxy had taken root in his irises. Then, I saw them. From his temples, two long, twisted horns began to emerge—slowly unfurling like obsidian vines curling toward the sky. They glistened, dark as night with veins of green magic pulsing along their surface. Power radiated from him like heat from fire, warping the air around us. He stepped forward, his voice no longer entirely human. “No, Sai,” he said, his tone deep, echoing, layered with something ancient and inhuman. “You haven’t been poisoned. What you’re experiencing is the Lucost Glow.” I blinked through the pain. “Lucost… what?” “It’s a sign,” Caspian said, his face grim. “The Witch’s magic has activated. Her black curse… it’s no longer just claiming your child’s life.” He took my hand gently in his clawed one. “It’s coming for you now. Beatrice is summoning you into her realm. She’s not done yet, Sai. She wants your soul. She wants you dead.” And immediately, I fell. Dead?{Lola}After Theodore left me on that bed, I lay there, tears streaming, my mind replaying the times we used to share. The days when everything seemed perfect. The moments we laughed, touched, and held each other close.Never once had Theodore raised his hand against me. We’d been together even before he broke up with Sai. He loves me—or at least he did. And I loved him too. But now, I don’t know anymore. That love, that attraction I once felt burning between us… I can’t tell if it still exists. Because the man standing in front of me these days is not the Theodore I married. He’s different. He’s a stranger. My fingers twisted into the duvet, gripping tightly as his words echoed in my head.“One more word against Sai, and I will make you regret it for the rest of your life!”The memory lit a fire in me. My chest heaved. My anger burned hotter with every second.I’m losing him. He’s slipping through my fingers. And not to just any woman—But to her.Sai?That worthless orphan? The same
~SaiThe moment I stepped out of my car, I walked with purpose into the hospital, heels striking the tiled floor in a steady rhythm. My destination was clear—the doctor’s office. When I pushed the door open, the doctor immediately rose from his chair and came toward me, his expression eager.“Welcome, Miss Ray,” he greeted warmly.I gave him a cool smile and moved to the chair opposite his desk. Once I reached it, I set the heavy suitcase down on the polished surface, the sound of it hitting the desk making his eyes flicker with greed.“Here you go, Doctor,” I said smoothly. His fingers trailed across the surface of the case, almost caressing it, before he gave me another smile.“Please, have a seat. I’ll get you something to drink—”“You don’t have to stress yourself, Doc,” I cut him off sharply, crossing one leg over the other as I leaned back in the chair. “You know very well the only thing I want to drink right now is the tears of the Kaiser household. If you want to entertain me,
[Theodore’s POV]Lola’s eyes were still fixed on me, burning with a kind of fury that demanded an answer. Her nose flared, her hands clenched tight, and her gaze held me like claws digging into my skin, as if she was ready to tear apart whatever word I dared to say next.“Come on, Theodore!” she snapped, her voice sharp and vibrating with anger. “Why are you quiet? Why aren’t you answering me? Are you scared I’ll find out the truth? You’re supposed to be a man, aren’t you? You’re the Alpha, aren’t you? Then prove it! Tell me what’s really going on inside you. Tell me what you feel!”Her words were fire, yet I refused to give her the satisfaction of a response. Silence was my shield, but the longer I held it, the more dangerous she became. With a sudden snarl, Lola grabbed my shirt and yanked me toward her. Her eyes had turned red, the playful spark gone, replaced by something darker, something twisted. Her lips curved into a cold sneer.“Look into my eyes, Theodore,” she hissed, her v
[Theodore’s POV]I have to admit... this was the first time I ever raised my hand against a woman. And that woman happened to be Lola.Even after slapping her, I didn’t feel an ounce of regret. Nothing tugged at my conscience. Maybe something’s wrong with me. Or maybe... I’m finally seeing things for what they truly are.I don’t even know when it started, but lately, something about Sai keeps gnawing at my mind. They all call her names. They spread stories, rumors, accusations. But deep down, I don’t feel any of it is true. Not saying I’ve fallen for Sai, no. It’s not that. But ever since the day she was stripped in front of everyone, something changed inside me. I remember standing there, watching. I wanted to run to her, cover her with my jacket. But Caspian got there first. And again at the mall—I had planned to buy her that necklace. I wanted to offer peace, ask if we could talk things out.But everything backfired. And now, here I am.Lola planned to kill her.No remorse. No guil
[Theodore’s POV]I couldn’t hold it in. The rage clawed at my chest the moment I heard the truth—Lola had cut the chandelier rope, and she did it to kill Sai.My fists clenched on their own. The anger felt raw, open, exposed. I couldn’t contain it, and if I did, I’d explode. So I let it out—on her.Zayden's voice echoed in my mind, low and sharp through our bond.I told you, didn’t I? I told you Lola cut the rope. Her wolf couldn’t hide it. I connected with her wolf!I didn’t reply. My jaw clenched tighter. I kept my mouth shut, too aware that if I spoke, I might lash out at him too. I couldn’t risk that—not now.By the time I got to the car, Zayden was already waiting. One look at me and he instantly mirrored my fury.“Are we attacking Lola?” he snapped. “She and her wolf went the extra mile!”I started the engine, eyes flicking coldly toward him. “Can you just keep quiet for once?” I barked. “I need to think, okay?!”My voice cracked like a whip. My glowing eyes dimmed as Zayden shr
~SaiI locked eyes with Theodore—and without hesitation—I shoved his hand off me like it was poison. My glare burned into him.“Don’t you ever think of touching me, Theodore!” I snapped, voice sharp as broken glass. “You’ve lost every right to lay a finger on me, let alone speak to me in that tone.”He didn’t blink. He just stood there, frozen and brooding, his eyes filled with something darker than rage—betrayal. But I didn’t care. I wasn’t afraid of him. I wasn’t afraid of anyone anymore, and certainly not the man who once tore my soul apart. He let out a slow, shaky breath, trying to rein in the storm brewing inside him.“I know exactly what you're after, Sai,” he said, his voice laced with tightly restrained fury. “You’re desperate for revenge. That’s why you pushed Beatrice into the chandelier… wasn’t it?”I let out a scoff, tilting my head at him. “Oh, you saw that?” I asked, eyes narrowing, my voice taunting. “I didn’t realize you were watching when I pushed Beatrice.
