We ended up sleeping on the same bed. And there we were in the morning, having a peaceful sleep when someone rained a heavy water on my body! I jumped off the bed immediately, breathing hard. “Holy jeez!” I exclaimed, getting up from the bed. Caspian also got up, and immediately rushed up to me. “What's the problem, Sai?” He inquired, brushing off the drip of water from my face. Just then, I looked up and saw a young lady holding a bucket of emptied water, glaring at me with so much contempt. “Celine?” Caspian called out, clearly not baffled by her appearance. I guess they already knew each other but that doesn't warrant her to splash that water on me. Before Caspian could speak further, she dropped the bucket in her hand, pointing her finger at me. “So you have the right to bring in another woman into this Pack, Caspian?” She squinted, as if trying to read a blurry line. “If anyone were to tell me that you'd leave me for somebody as worthless and stupid as her, I wouldn't believe it!” Caspian got on his feet immediately.”You don't understand, Celine!” His voice was low and convincing while I tried to act cool. “Sai here needed our help. I only brought here because she needed…” “You don't have the right to speak or explain anything to me, Caspian!” Celine cut him off, her face squeezed in disgust. “It's already clear enough that you cheated on me, and not just with anyone but with her! Sai Ray! The stupid and worthless daughter of that old late Alpha of Red Moon Pack!” Immediately after Celina's last statement, I gathered myself and got up to my feet. Ready to challenge her. I mean, she just insulted my father, how dare she? “Oh, you are on your feet already?” Celine backed, curling a cruel smirk on her face. “So what now? Are you going to beat me? Are you going to fight me just because I pointed out your stupid and devilish act?” I smiled with calaculted bitterness, before pointing my fingers at Celine. “I would take anything from you, Young Lady, but I won't take you insulting the people I love!” “Besides, Caspian brought me to his room. I never asked him to bring me here and what's worse? You don't even know what really transpired between the both of us and you already jumped into stupid conclusion. Who does that?” She scoffed, folding her arms. “Excuse you, Sai! For your information, Caspian here is my FATED MATE. We are Mates. And you should really learn how to obey those higher than you. You are just a slave, remember?” I wanted to speak back when Caspian stepped in between, spreading his hands. Celine's words hurt me badly. I mean, she already confessed that she was Caspian's fated mate. Which means that Caspian is already mated to another person. So, why did he have sex with me? Why did he choose to buy me to save me from Theodore when he already has another woman in his life. No matter what he said to separate Celine's fight with me, I didn't pay enough attention. I just stood there, looking at him and blaming myself for allowing him touch me when it is obvious that he doesn't love me. He only needed my body to satisfy his pleasures. This means that I am not quite lucky with men. Just when I started lovin’Caspian again, all these was already happening? He already has a mate and what's worse? He loves her too! Caspian turned to me. “Please, Sai. Can you afford not to get into a fight with Celine again?” I sniffled immediately, giving Celine a disgusting glance. “You both can settle out your dispute. I don't think I have the right to tear two fated Mates apart. I am only but a slave, so I should mind my place in this pack. Excuse me!” I turned and walked out, ignoring the smile of victory on Celine's face. She must be thinking that I am losing to her or that I am afraid of her which was the reason I said all those things but in her dreams shall I let go of Caspian. Caspian is the only person who can help me exact my Revenge on Theodore and the others who hurt me in the past. He is a HYBRID. He possessed both the power of a werewolf and a demon, and the only person to deal with Beatrice's black magic. I need to win his heart and make sure that he trusts me so much. By doing that, my mission to destroy the evil witch will come to reality. So, by stepping out of that room, Caspian will see that I am not obsessed with him and he would run after me, asking me not to be angry! And just like I predicted, it happened! As I walked out of the room in a drenched attire, I could hear Caspian calling out my name. “Sai…Sai…! Please hold on, Sai!” I smiled deeply, swimming on my success, but still walking very fast. “I said to wait, Sai. Please, Stop!” Caspian demanded, finally getting close to me. He dragged me to a stop, his eyes narrowing with emotions. “I am sorry for what happened Earlier, Sai. I was only…” “You don't have to apologize to me, Caspian!” I cut him off. “Celine is your Mate. She is your soon-to-be LUNA. You have to accept and treat her like one. I shouldn't be a burden in your relationship, Caspian! So, I'll appreciate it if you acknowledge the reason why I am in this mansion, which is to serve as your slave. So even if it is a SERVANT, wil you allow me to be one?” “i will not let that happen, Sai!” He interjected immediately, moving his hands to mine slowly. “You don't have to say all these things, Sai. You are still special to me which was the reason I bought you from Theodore. I didn't buy you so you can work as a servant. I bought you so that we can work together as a team and bring down The Inheritors of Red Moon Pack. So, please, Sai… don't be mad again!” I made sure my face was as strict as ever. Even when I wanted to smile by this beautiful words Caspian said to me, I still maintained the angered mood. All I needed to hear from Caspian was already said. So, now I am rest assured that Caspian is by my side. With this set apart, it is time to start plotting on how to ruin Theodore and Lola, as well as her mother— Beatrice! Still on the ground of what Caspian said to me, I finally lifted my lips to smile. “Thank you so much, Caspian. I promise to do everything to pay back this offer of yours!” As we smiled at each other, the warmth in my chest was suddenly replaced by a sharp, searing pain that stabbed deep into my skull. I clutched my head, gasping as the agony intensified—exhuming, raw, like a thousand needles ripping through my mind. That same pain. The very same piercing torment I felt the day Beatrice ripped my child from my womb. My vision blurred. My knees buckled, and Caspian caught me just before I collapsed. “Sai? Sai, what's happening to you?” he asked, panic thick in his voice as he gripped my hips to steady me. I could barely respond, my mouth twitching, foaming slightly. Then I felt something strange trickle from my lips. It wasn’t blood—it shimmered like liquid sapphire, glowing faintly in the morning light. “What’s going on?” I whispered, weakly raising a trembling hand to my lips. My palm caught the substance. It sparkled—a translucent blue foam, glowing like starlight trapped in water. “Why is my spit shimmering?” I whispered hoarsely, my voice barely audible over the ringing in my ears. “Am I... poisoned?” Caspian’s entire body stiffened. His eyes widened, and then—right before me—they shifted color. They turned a vivid, unnatural green. Not the green of nature, but something otherworldly—a glowing, supernatural hue, as if a galaxy had taken root in his irises. Then, I saw them. From his temples, two long, twisted horns began to emerge—slowly unfurling like obsidian vines curling toward the sky. They glistened, dark as night with veins of green magic pulsing along their surface. Power radiated from him like heat from fire, warping the air around us. He stepped forward, his voice no longer entirely human. “No, Sai,” he said, his tone deep, echoing, layered with something ancient and inhuman. “You haven’t been poisoned. What you’re experiencing is the Lucost Glow.” I blinked through the pain. “Lucost… what?” “It’s a sign,” Caspian said, his face grim. “The Witch’s magic has activated. Her black curse… it’s no longer just claiming your child’s life.” He took my hand gently in his clawed one. “It’s coming for you now. Beatrice is summoning you into her realm. She’s not done yet, Sai. She wants your soul. She wants you dead.” And immediately, I fell. Dead?
{The Doctor’s POV}Hearing what this woman had just said, my mind went blank—then spiraled into chaos. Is she really going to kill me?Is she actually going to end my life? Just like that?Even after all the truth I had confessed to her?I shook my head, my body trembling uncontrollably with fear. Every part of me wanted to believe this was some horrible nightmare.Everything I had said, every word that escaped my lips, had been for one reason only—to leave this place alive and go back to my wife. For years now, she’s been in police custody, trapped because of the debts we owed. The only way to get her back was to pay off every last cent. That was why I agreed to Ivy’s plan in the first place. I wanted the money—yes—but not for greed. I wanted it to save my wife’s life. And then, out of nowhere, Lola kidnapped me. She forced me into this dark corner, demanding I tell the truth or die.But dying was the last thing on my list.I can’t die. Not yet.Because I have a wife. And I have two
{The Doctor’s POV}In response to what the Luna had just asked, I nodded, my eyes bulging wide with fear.I didn’t know what to say anymore. I thought I had the courage—I thought I had the heart to speak the truth—but the fear of Sai was already living rent-free in my head. My mind was a mess. I couldn’t think straight, and before I could gather my thoughts, the Luna’s voice broke through, loud and chaotic.“I won’t ask you this damn question again!” she thundered. “This is your last chance to tell me the truth. If you don’t, you’ll die right here!”I shook my head quickly, trying to speak, but she didn’t let me.“Tell me, Doctor!” she roared, straightening up as her voice echoed through the room. “Was it Sai who told you to ruin my mother’s face, or was it someone else? You can lie to yourself all you want, but you can never—never—lie to me!”Her glare burned into my soul as she stretched her hand to the side. One of her men immediately handed her a gun. She pointed it straight at my
{The Doctor’s POV}Immediately after I said that, I noticed the Luna’s eyes slowly returning to normal. It was as if she was forcing herself to control the rage that had consumed her moments ago. That desperate fire in her gaze—the one that screamed her desire to kill me—was fading away.My heart thumped hard as I kept my eyes on her. She began walking toward me, her steps slow but deliberate. The deadly hunger in her eyes softened, replaced by something else—an urgency. An urgency to know the truth. To finally hear the thing her heart had been yearning for all these years. And before I could even blink, she was already in front of me.Her hand shot out and clamped tightly around my neck. I froze. She leaned closer, her voice dangerously calm as she spoke.“Alright then. You managed to earn yourself a soft spot from my anger. Good job. Well done.”She smiled faintly, but her smile didn’t bring comfort—it sent chills crawling down my spine.“But this thing you just said…” she continued
{The Doctor’s POV}Immediately after saying this, she forced my mouth open wider and slid the burning candle between my lips.My eyes shut instinctively as I prayed—desperately—that nothing worse would happen. But my prayers went unanswered.A drop of hot, melting wax landed on my tongue. It was the candle wax.“Orughhhhhhhhh!” I tried to scream, but the sound barely escaped. My voice was trapped—muffled by the pain and the thick, bubbling saliva that filled my mouth. The scorching heat spread across my tongue, burning through every nerve. But my suffering didn’t matter to Lola. She pressed my mouth open even tighter, forcing my jaw wider as more drops of molten wax fell inside. Each drop felt like fire, searing through my tongue and throat. I tried to twist away, to shake my head, to scream—but her grip was too strong. My whole body shook violently under the pain.Still, she didn’t stop.More wax.More pain.More of her laughter echoing above my muffled cries.I wanted to confess at
{The Doctor’s POV}She stepped outside for a brief moment, brushing her hair back as she exhaled slowly. Then, turning to face me, she said with a bitter smile,“I knew you were stubborn, Doctor. But I never realized you were this stubborn. I mean, I never knew you could be stubborn to the point where you’d need physical pressure before finally confessing the truth!”My lips trembled. My body was drenched in sweat as I tried to make sense of everything unraveling before me.“What do you mean by that, My Luna?” I asked, my voice cracking under the weight of fear. She let out a sharp laugh. “I gave you several chances to do this the easy way, Doctor. But what path did you choose? You chose the tormenting one.”Her eyes glinted with cold amusement as she stepped closer. “And you should know by now the type of person I am, shouldn’t you? I’m not someone who gives up easily on the things she cherishes. That includes the truth… and the love of my life—Theodore!”Her tone softened slightly w
{The Doctor's POV}The gun was pointed directly at my head.My body was present in the room, but my mind had long drifted into the void of fear. Paralysis took over me—my hands trembled, my lips quivered, and my legs shook uncontrollably. I was no longer thinking straight. Panic had swallowed every ounce of logic I had left.Still, somehow, amidst the chaos in my head, I found the strength to speak.“My Luna… I’m telling you the truth. I don’t know anything about the Keloid Scarring X, and I swear on my life—I wasn’t sent to ruin your mother’s face...”Her voice came back cold and sharp, like the edge of a dagger laced with venom.“So you’re fucking with me, am I right?” she said quietly, the calmness in her tone more terrifying than if she had screamed.I shook my head desperately. “I am not fucking with you, My Luna. I don’t know anything about—”She cut me off mid-sentence, her tone rising with fury as she jabbed her finger toward a briefcase in the corner of the room.“So what on
