Chapter:-4

Damon starts following the scent; his wolf is continuously chatting in his head. He takes the elevator and reaches the party hall, where he sees his dad, brother, and Mr. Madden having a bad quarrel on the corner side. Damon wanted to ignore and follow the scent, but when he saw how his dad and brother were pleading and apologizing, Damon just stopped in his tracks. He could sense his friend's scent inside the hall. It means she is there, as much as he wants to follow her; he knows he needs to tell his father and brother first, and Maddens too. Maybe they understand why he rejected their daughter. Damon knew Omega had already told her family everything.

Suddenly, everyone saw Damon standing and looking at them. Elder Sebastian and his wife, Queen Clarissa, give him a disappointed look.

"Damon! Explain yourself now! Did you reject Ashley?" Michael asks his son, and he can't believe his own son rejected someone for his own benefit. Rejecting an Omega is not a normal thing in their society. Because of his son, Ashley will never get someone in the future.

"I'm.... I'm sorry, dad. I'm sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Madden. I know I have hurt your sentiments and feelings, and even your daughter's as well. But really, my intentions were not wrong. I didn't want to. I already feel my m..." Alexander cut him in midair.

"I don't want to hear your explanation. You really hurt us, Damon. We thought you were a good Alpha, but we were wrong. You reject our daughter and her wolf just because she defends herself as an omega. I know you used to love someone else, and you are hurt because of your Omega's death, but that doesn't mean you disrespect all other Omegas. You will never move on in life if you continue this! Mark my words! And you hurt my daughter and her wolf. You know how much she is hurting right now because of your rejection. You. You, Damon, I will never forgive you for this!" Alexander Madden spoke while pointing at Damon.

Damon's head starts hurting because his wolf keeps chanting and his mate is near him. He can feel it.

"My friend, on behalf of my son, I apologized for everything. I know Damon did something unforgiven and you can never forgive him, but please let me talk to Ashley. And you can never forgive him, but please let me talk to Ashley." Michael really wants to apologize to the Omega girl. Because of his son, the poor girl will suffer in the future.

"Dad, please stop this! It was my fault! Please don't do this! She is the one who insults me first, and Dad, I have reason to reject her." Damon can't see his father apologizing to some worthless Omega.

"Don't you even talk to me, Damon? You stupid boy, you are the one who talks her like shit; you really think you deserve respect just because you are an Alpha; did you forget what your late mother taught you?" Michael asked his son; he couldn't believe after everything Damon was still talking shite.

Rayan took Damon to his side. He can't believe his brother really rejected someone. Only God knows what will happen now; if they don't do anything now, there will be a big problem between both packs.

"We don't want to hear a word. We will take our leave. Honey, call Ashley and tell her to go directly to parking. We will meet her there; I don't want them to see her face." Alexander spoke to his wife coldly.

"No! Please Alexander! Don't do this to me! Please give me a chance; I will fix everything! Please call your daughter here! I will talk to her! I will apologize to her in front of everyone; I will tell everyone it's not your daughter's mistake," Michael said in a pleading tone.

Alexander knows that after everything, no one will accept her daughter as a friend; maybe if Williams apologizes to her, then everyone will understand her side. He looked towards Elder Sebestian, who nodded his head.

"Honey, call Ashley and tell her to come." Alexander informed his wife. Monika nodded and called Ashley. She could hear Ashley sobbing.

Damon rolls his eyes. He wants all this over soon, so he can find Adira and tell his father and brother everything.

And he knows everything will be fine after that.

Monika informs her daughter to come in. Ashley first denied it while sobbing, but Monika convinced her to come.

"She is hurting so much! This is what you wanted, Damon? You hurt my daughter and her wolf. I can't believe you are your mother's son."

"With all respect, Mrs. Monika Madden, don't bring my mother to all this shit." Damon said while using his Alpha voice that his eyes are red. It's like he is going to attack Monika.

"DAMON." Michael screams at his son.

"She is the one who brought my dead mother to Dad; she is pathetic like her daughter."

There was a pin-drop silence inside the hall. Michael and Rayan are really shocked because of Damon's behavior.

Elder Sebesatina is seeing his past self in front of him.

"Dare to disrespect my parents again; I will end you."

Williams hears a cold voice behind them, and Damon tries to control his wolf because his mate's scent is really strong now. His mate is here, but first he needs to teach this pathetic Omega a good lesson for disrespecting him again.

"Ashley, sweetheart." Alexander goes towards his daughter when he sees anger inside her puffy eyes.

Williams turned around to look toward Omega.

As the three Williams looked towards Ashley, they froze. They felt like the ground slipped from under their feet the moment they saw Ashley. Especially Damon. He was extremely shocked as his wolf started chanting mate in his head.

'Mate is here; she is back. Claim our mate; make her ours.'

Ashley Madden is an exact copy of his late lover Adira, and what shocks Damon more is that she is even the same as Adira.

It means she is his Adira, and his Adira is back.

"Sh... She... She is your daughter?" Asked Michael William. Alexander just shrugged and nodded.

"Yes, she is my daughter. Ashley. Ashley I'm sorry to take you here, and you got hurt." Alexander said as he looked towards the three William men.

"They don't deserve you, my love. Even if you were ready for this marriage, it's over now. Baby, let's leave now. The party is over. And don't even waste your tears on someone pathetic like him. I can't see your precious tears." Alexander said this to his daughter and kissed her forehead. Ashley nodded with a sad face and looked towards Damon.

Ashley doesn't understand why, but the Alpha looks sad and shocked at the same time. Her wolf is still crying for Alpha.

Damon felt like time had stopped for him. The moment he saw Ashley's face He was shocked; he didn't know how to express himself. After seven years, he saw someone who looked like his late lover. Who smells like his late lover...

How could he reject his own mate, his Adira?

She came back for him, and he rejected her.

"Adira, my love?" Damon said it in a soft and cracking voice. Michael and Rayan looked towards Damon.

Madden looks towards Damon in confusion.

"Damon, what are you saying?" Elder Sebestian asks him in confusion.

"Who? My daughter's name is Ashley, not Adira! Anyway, let's go, baby. Elder Sebestian, please excuse us!" Alexander said this and bowed towards the elder and the queen. He took Ashley's hand, and they started leaving the place.

'Stop, mate, ours; claim her; mark her.'

Damon Wolf wants to come out and claim Ashely as his.

Damon immediately runs towards Ashely and hugs her tightly; his eyes are red. And Ashley was shocked when Damon suddenly hugged her tightly while she was sobbing.

"Adira, my love. I knew it! I knew you would come back to me!" Damon said while hugging tightly. Ashley was so shocked that she didn't even know how to react.

She didn't hug him back. The same Alpha who rejects her and insults her parents hugged her like she was his long-lost lover.

Everyone inside the hall was shocked and confused, even Elder Sebastian, but when he looked towards Madden's pale face, he understood what was going on and why Damon called Ashley Adira.

Soon, Adira freed herself from the Alpha hug.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Mr. Damon?" Stop hugging me!" Ashley spoke with anger filling her voice, but Damon kept looking at her with a smile.

After seven years, he finally found love.

"Ashely, let's go." Alexander said he held Ashley's hand again. Damon growls at Alexander Madden as he pulls Ashley toward him.

"I finally found you; I missed you so much! Don't go; please don't go away from me now, Adira! I know I did wrong; I hurt you, but I am sorry, my love." Damon said this while holding Ashely's waist. Ashley roughly pushed Damon.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Who are you? You rejected me in the first place, and now you're talking nonsense. hley Madden, not Adira. Don't you dare touch me again. Dad, let's go." Ashley said.

Alexander was shocked when he saw what Damon did, but he held Ashley's hand once again as they left the place. Ashley turned back and looked towards Damon, who was completely frozen in place.

"I... I can't believe this! Rayan, what the hell is this? Ashley... she really looks like... she looks... like... " Michael tries to complete his sentence, but his words suck inside him.

"Adira!" Rayan completes his father's sentence, and he is as shocked as his father. Damon immediately ran towards the door like a madman. He couldn't let Adira go. His dad and brother ran behind him.

When Damon reached the parking lot, he realized he was late. His mate is already gone. Damon's eyes turn red one more time, and his bones start cracking as he converts into a big black wolf with golden and red eyes. He starts running towards the Maddens pack when his father and brother stop him.

"Damon! What is wrong with you? You're not going anywhere, are you?"

Michael commands his son while using an alpha voice. Even Damon is stronger than him, but as a pack, Alpha Michael still has the upper hand over his son.

Damon shifts back in second. He is all naked, as his clothes are torn apart. When he changed into Wolf, Michael came and hugged his son tightly.

"He takes her away, Dad; he takes away my Adira." Damon starts crying on his dad's shoulder like a kid. Michael didn't know what to say; he kept caressing his son's back.

"Damon, please calm down. This is just a coincidence. Ashley is just Ashley, not Adira. Please understand this!" Michael tried to make his son understand, but Damon shook his head.

"No! She is my Adira dad; I can feel her scent; her scent is the same as Adira!" As Damon informs his father and brother of this, they are shocked. How can this even be possible? Every wolf has his or her own unique scent. Their scent is their identity. How can Ashley and Adira's scents be the same?

"Calm down, brother! Please calm down." Rayan tries to calm his brother. They need to meet Elder Sebesian and ask him what's going on.

Rayan remembers that he sees himself as how Adira's body becomes ashes. Ashley can't be Adira. It's impossible, but her scent?

"Dad..... Brother.... I made the biggest mistake of my life: I rejected her! I'm feeling like I rejected Adira! I won't let this happen again! I want her!!" Damon said as he tried to calm himself.

"Son, we will talk about this at home. Let's go back to our pack." Michael informed his son that for now they needed to go home and have a good sleep. He will talk to Alexander tomorrow.

Meanwhile, inside the Maddens car:

"I can't believe they will do this to us! I'm never going to forgive him and his son for hurting my daughter and insulting me like this!" Alexander said it angrily while sitting beside Ashley. Ashley was driving, and her mom was sitting in the back seat.

"Honey, calm down! I'm glad we got to know their colors before we took any steps! I don't want my baby to be part of their pack. The way Damon talks to us shows how disrespectful they are towards the Omegas," Monika said. Ashley just sighed deeply and kept thinking about why Damon hugged her and called her Adira.

"Dad, Mom, please calm down. Whatever happened was not your fault. Just let it go, and father, I think you should talk to Mr. William; it's not his fault after all." Ashley said she doesn't want anything bad to happen between the two packs.

"No Ashley! You are naive; that's why you are saying all this! I swear to Luna, I didn't rip his head off because of Elder!" Elder Sebestian is a wise man, and Alexander doesn't want to create any more chaos in his party.

"Dad, please calm down! We don't want any problems with Williams pack. Just do it for our pack and try to forget about it," Ashley said. Alexader nodded; He knew his daughter was right. They had many inside deals with the Williams family and their pack. He can't let his emotions affect his pack.

"Ashley, I'm really sorry. I thought Damon was a good man and perfect for you. But don't worry, I will find someone better for you, okay? " Alexander said with a smile. But he knows very well that no Alpha wants a rejected Omega.

Inside the Williams Pack House:

"This is really unbelievable!" How is this possible? I mean!! How can Ashley look like Adira? And her scent to, "What the hell is going on?!" Michael said he still can't process the whole thing.

"Dad, I understand, this is really shocking! How can she? They are like doppelgangers!" Rayan said.

Damon was just walking like a dead man. All the way, he didn't even say a word. Michael and Rayan saw Damon, who was just going towards his room without saying anything.

"Damon... Son!" Michael called him softly, but Rayan stopped him.

"Dad, let me handle him first. Then you come. " Rayan informed his dad, and he went towards his brother's room.

Michael is still confused because of all this.

Is this true? Do dead people come back? This is what Michael is thinking about. But he is also upset that his childhood friend is angry with him. He doesn't want to lose this friendship. He is sure Elder Sebestian can help them with all this mess.

When Rayan entered the Damon room, he saw that Damon was sitting on the floor while holding Adira's picture; he kept caressing it while sobbing. Rayan went inside and closed the door.

"Brother, stop crying. Come now, we need to talk." Rayan said as he sat beside his younger brothers. Damon shook his head.

"Rayan.... I made a big mistake today. I hurt my mate. How can I do this to her?" Damon asked.

"Damon, she is Ashley, not Adira! Please stop tr...!" Damon cut his brother off in the middle of his scent.

"Then why is her scent the same as Adira's brother's?" Why? Who is she?"
