VICTORIA

I sat there, with the other maids and I was really confused. "Did he just say those harsh words to me?" I asked myself. Perhaps, I was being too hasty with my conclusions. Maybe he didn't really mean what he said. I couldn't get myself to imagine that he didn't want me. I mean, he had happily accepted me the way that I was, and he may have just said that because he was angry.

Indeed, he wasn't harsh, even as he spoke. He just looked a bit sad, probably due to the reception that his pack gave me once they heard that I didn't have a wolf. I felt he still loved me and I wasn't going to let one single statement change that.
