I whispered to myself. I can’t believe that he still didn’t even try to apologize. Earlier, he didn’t even act like he did anything wrong. He just kept talking to me like we were all good. His attitude made me angrier but I did my best not to let it show especially around Joan.

At least he didn’t try to kiss me goodbye in front of her. That would have been nasty of him. The fact that he didn’t do it still makes him a nasty man.
