DAMIEN'S P.O.V

We head into the car and after turning on the ignition, I drive off. On the way, we made small talk, and she gets into telling me how she discovered her love for baking after high school and all that, and I delve into my story of how I wanted to start a musical band in middle school but didn't know how to play a single instrument.

It was quite a funny past, and it got us laughing, but when we arrive at the hospital, we turned serious.

As I get down to call in a nurse, Amanda takes the keys and takes her position in the driver's seat to go park the car in the driveway. By the time she had parked the car and opened the back door where Audrey lay, I had returned with nurses rolling in a stretcher.

They carried her on it and roll off with it with I and Amanda following from behind.

Several minutes later, we were standing in the lobby while waiting for the results of her X-ray scan.
