Alpha or not

Kylan took a deep breath. It was not the return he pictured. He was supposed to come back home with at least a few dragon warriors to support him, but nothing like this happened. Instead, he was returning alone, unprepared to face his pack members. The last time they saw each other, he killed his parents to please the Dragon King.

The man put his foot down confidently. He may be alone, but for the Goddess's sake, he was an Alpha now, and they would obey his will. If not, every person who decides to stand against him will face consequences.

Kylan looked around with confidence. It was his home, his pack. His parents could be good leaders, but he would show everyone he was the great one. There was no place for weakness right now. The Dragon King could betray him, but he was not defenseless. The dragon's behavior still stung, but Kylanm could not dwell on it much longer.

But was it really betrayal? Maybe it was a test. Maybe Lucius did it to let Kylan prove he was worthy of his support
