Beatrice looked at me haughtily. “You traitor! After everything the pack has done for you, you still insist on disobeying and treating us this way. It’s expected but the least you could have ever done was pretend. You’re calling me and the Luna Mariana a liar?”

I swallowed. “No I’m not. But you know that you were the one who called me and told me that Ace had sent for me.”

At that moment a slap landed on my face. I touched my cheeks.

It was Luna Rachel.

“Don’t you ever refer to my son without his title as Alpha! Don’t you ever!” She spat at me. “You’re obviously the liar and you will be punished for this. We must go to the root of this. And God help you that we find out that you are the one who stole those jewelries, then you will face my wrath.”

She snapped. “Let’s go to her room.”
