Three

I walked into the dinning room with the food trays and served them to the members of the pack .

There was a large dining table and it was set for the Alpha and his family along with high ranking members of the pack .

I served them the Bacon, fried eggs and fluffy pancakes.

As much as the pack was rich enough to have multiple servants running around they made sure I did the cooking by myself.

All eyes were on me as they discussed and I could feel the men looking through my clothes, hoping for a glimpse of me.

When I was done serving, I stood with the other servants holding a jug of wine for them to refill their cups when they were thirsty.

“Serve me.” It was Ace.

A servant tried to step in, but he barked. “I want Ashley to Serve me.”

The servant scurried away in fear and I swallowed as I carried the large jug and went to replenish his cup.

I felt myself shake inside and then Ace set his hands under my dress and began rubbing my thighs.

I knew I couldn’t scream and also because we were backing the wall, no one could see.

I looked up and saw Luna Rachel giving me looks that could kill.

I hurriedly replenished his cup and then I went back to where I was standing.

“We have issues with the other packs.” Alpha Felix said. “We might need to impose more guards at our border.

“But we’re losing men. We need a strong alliance.” Beta David said. “We can’t rely on the ones we have they just aren’t enough, we need more.”

“That’s why Ace’s engagement will be coming up soon and is also very important. So that he can marry into the right pack and strengthen our territory.” Alpha Felix said.

Ace pulled his face into a sulk.

“We have a traitor in our midst should we be discussing such trivial issues?” A Luna on the table said.

Then all eyes went to me.

I started to shake.

“She knows what happened to her family. I’m sure she would think twice about being stupid again.” Another Beta said.

I just wanted to leave the table.

“When is the mating ceremony so that we can choose your Luna my son?” Luna Rachel asked Ace. “I Heard that Alpha Elijah’s daughter is a beauty and ripe for you.”

“She is boring mum. I’ve fucked her too many times and I’m sure everyone else has.” Ace said.

“Language Ace. You can’t say things like that.” She chastised him.

But Ace rolled his eyes and continued his meal.

“So tell me who is it you would choose to be your Luna? She has to be from a reputable family.” Luna Rachel advised.

Ace snorted. “When it’s time I’ll make my choice.”

They went on discussing.

And then when they were done with their meals, I went on packing and clearing the tables.

As soon I was done, I picked some left over scraps to eat as my breakfast.

Just as I was eating my breakfast, a servant came in.

“Ashley His majesty Lycan Ace is looking for you.” She said.

I felt my heart come to an abrupt and complete stop.

I swallowed. “He is looking for me?”

“Yes he is.” She replied.

“Where is he?” I asked hoping it wasn’t in his bedroom.

“He is in his bedroom.” She said shattering my hopes.

I nodded.

I felt my stomach go into a tight knot uncomfortably.

“I’ll finish when I’m done cleaning.” I said.

Then I went to get a bucket of soapy water and began scrubbing the floor neat.

If I didn’t get it done with, I would be in trouble and probably be starved.

It had happened times without number.

I would not be allowed to eat anything throughout the day as a punishment and sometimes I will still cook.

But if I was caught eating any of the food I would be beaten in front of the entire pack.

I felt the tears roll down my cheek and into the muddy floors.

My life had been miserable from the very first day that my parents had died.

I could barely remember them, but I remembered that night.

I don’t know why Alpha Felix had let me live when he could have simply killed me.

The treatment that I was getting by the day was horrible. I had no other family, and I had no other place to run to.

If I tried to run, they would kill me.

All of a sudden as I scrubbed the floor clean.

I felt someone talking to me. A female voice.

“Ashley.”

It sounded like it came from within and then I realized that it was my wolf.

I had never wolfed out and the odds that i would wolf out on my eighteen birthday was crazy.

“We have a mate.” Was the next thing she said.

I could not believe it.

I had a mate? Someone to call my own?

“Who is it?” I asked.

“I’ll lead you.” She said.

Then I rose to my feet, but by myself but by the power of my rose.

I could sniff it as we got closer.

My mate was closer.

My mate was a member of our pack!

I let my wolf lead me onward and then soon I opened the door and found myself in a room.

As soon as my actual eyes opened, I realized that I was in Ace’s bedroom.

What was I doing here?

Then it occurred to me.

Ace was my mate!

No this couldn’t be. Why would the goddess punish me in such an awful manner. In the most horrible way possible?

After i had suffered here as an orphan, been abused, humiliated and maltreated.

Yet Ace, the very same person who had almost raped me times without number was my destined mate?!

“Come here you bitch.” He stated as he rise up from his bed and took off his shirt.
