Alpha Carlos POV

"We have never met before and even if we had, I won't waste my time to remember the face of a lowlife, ordinary guards for that matter." she spat bitterly.

Felix frowns with anger written all over his face. I knew Jane might be lying and I didn't like the way she disrespectfully spoke to him.

This is one thing I hate about her, she's so pompous and has no manners at all. I only accepted to be with her because of her mother and also to take my revenge on Scarlett.

I turned and looked at her angrily and she shivered when she saw how angry I was.

"Don't ever speak to him in that manner again. Even if you didn't know him, do you have to speak to him like that? He's my chief guard and I won't allow you to disrespect him like that." I warned with anger in my tone.
