~ Nathan’s POV

“Don’t open the door, Bella,” I whispered to her since we were not sure who was knocking.

“I think it might be Damien. You can not let him see you here. Please, you have to find a place to hide,” she said, looking so scared. The look of terror on her face made me furious both at Damien for being the monster that she was afraid of, and me for being the reason why she met him in the first place.

I'm the reason she is in this situation. No more, enough is enough.

“Why should I hide from him? You are mine and not his. It is great that he was even here. It's time to put an end to this,” I said, sounding so determined.

“Please don’t do this, Nathan. Remember you have no power here and if Damien finds us both in my room at this hour, he will be suspicious of us,” she said.

Just then the knock came in again and this time around, Damien yelled that he was the one by the door and threatened to kick the door open if Bella did not open the door. I growled at his audacity and trie
