~Damien’s POVI never knew losing a child could be so painful until I experienced it myself. I was so shocked and angry when Conan broke the news to me. Bella’s tirade blaming me for the death of her unborn child hurt me deeply as I thought about my mother.My mother must have felt the same way Bella felt at the moment when she lost me to my father. ~Nathan’s POVI was still in shock as I watched the soldiers going from one house to another, killing everyone including the younger ones and burning their houses. Those who struggle or fight with them are beaten and taken as captives. My gaze turned to Damien, he was smiling coldly as he went on a rampage, killing anyone that came his way. He was shouting at the top of his voice, ordering the soldiers to kill without mercy.I knew he was ruthless and wicked, but I didn’t know he would go this far. His gaze showed no mercy and he killed without thinking. “Why are you standing not doing anything?” One of the soldiers shouted at me.“This isn’t the first time you are witnessing the Alpha in a rampaging mood, so get your ass together,” he added.I moved away from where I was staying and went to a shady and secretive area. ~ Nathan's pov I racked my brain to come up with a reasonable excuse, one that would not blow my cover, but at the same time, would not require me to give the boy up and expose him.
