Ava stood alone, watching the others prepare for the team challenge they were supposed to head out for in a few hours. She had woken with a cold feeling on her chest but she wasn't sure if it was because she was scared of making another mistake or maybe something else.

"Hey," Zora said softly, placing a gentle hand on Ava's shoulder. "Are you okay, cause you don't look so good".

Ava tried to smile, but she couldn't fake it.

"I'm fine, just... you know, scared about the mission."

"Tell me about it". Zora sighed "I've heard a lot of rumors that the masters are planning to send us on a suicide mission where we will have to fight dangerous rogues, monsters, ghosts........"

"Not helping Zora". Ava waved her hands to make Zora snap out her imagination.

"My bad, what I meant to say is as long as we look out for each other, we'll be just fine". She assured Ava.

"Speaking of which, Justin and Gwen arrived, we should probably see what we're up against".

"You arrogant bastard, how dare you show your face here’. Morris Nightshade, the father of Mason and the retired Delta of Starry Howler growled angrily at the sight of Mason who had returned home after being away for a long time.Mason remained quiet, ignoring his father's harsh words. He had already become used to his father's outburst anytime he dared show his face in front of him. "How.....how dare you turn your back on me!" Morris coughed as he tried to speak."Dad, are you alright?" Mason tried to help his father from falling, but Morris angrily pushed him away."Get your hands off me!" he barked. Nora rushed to his side, gently trying to calm her husband."Morris, please...he is still our son," she pleaded."My son died long ago," Morris spat. "The one standing before us now is the disgrace who murdered him and stole his place in this world.""I've come to collect a few belongings, then you won't h

  • Rejected Under The Moonlight    Grudges

The training grounds of the Starry Howler pack filled with usual morning activity. Hendrix and Betty were up early to begin their training."Do you really think the rogues retreated just because they were outnumbered?" Betty asked, as she tried to block one of Hendrix's kicks."I'm not so either but I suspect that those rogues are up to no good again"?He moved quickly, aiming a strike at Betty's side which she dogged. "A few days ago, I asked my father to let me investigate the movement of the rogues but he still refused to let me leave the pack's territory."You know your father, he's always been very protective of you cause you're the only one he has left and besides, you'll be the next Alpha soon. He can't risk you running off into danger like that" Hendrix moved quickly, catching her off guard, with a swift move, he managed to sweep Betty's legs out from under her. But before she could fall, he held onto her.

  • Rejected Under The Moonlight    The Dark Hole Prison

The Darkhollow Dungeons was the most feared place in the entire Rogue nation. It served as the prison hold of lady Kaira built deep the mountain side within her territory. No living rogue knew exactly who or what was locked inside it but one thing was certain, no one ever lived to tell the story.Lady Kaira made her way through the dark and dusty prison hold inspecting each cell, she was accompanied by two of her guards who kept a safe distance from her."Have the prisoners been causing any trouble lately". She asked, properly inspecting each cell."Not at all my lady.....everything is in place, just like you ordered". The first guard replied."Then why does this prisoner look so miserable? Have you gone against my orders and decided to torture him instead". She looked at the miserable condition of the prisoner, his body all covered in bruises and scares probably from all the countless year of torture. The guards shook in fear "No...no my lady. We've given food, water and everythi

  • Rejected Under The Moonlight    Battle Arena

The Next Morning "Failure only on the second day of your training? This is unacceptable!" Master Kai growled, looking at the guilty faces of the recruits. "The first rule of being a Guardian is to always be vigilant, and ready to fight at any time you're called upon. What if these summons were for an actual threat instead of just morning drills?"Ava felt shame burn her cheek , Master Kai was absolutely right they had failed to show up on time from the morning drills. It wasn’t their fault entirely, the Neon wood was far from the main training ground, and moving from a long distance in a short period of time was a challenge on its own. As for the other recruits, she had no idea why they had fallen behind too."If you recruits wish to prove yourselves worthy of joining our ranks, you must rebuild and earn it starting right now."He gave a signal, and some heavily muscled senior Guardians stepped forward carrying huge megalith stones. Ava gulped hard as one of the stones was dropped i

Lady kaira was surrounded with dark energy as she meditated in the Skull pavilion. The soul separation spell was one of the most dangerous spells she had studied for many years until she was strong enough to become a master of her own."My lady......my lady! I must speak with you at once." Vaskra came rushing almost out of breath.Kaira slowly opened her eyes, disgust written all over her face "You dare disturb my meditation, Vaskra?" Vaskra dropped to one knee, bowing his head. "Forgive me, my lady. But I've just received some very disturbing news, it can't wait any longer." "Speak then but I had hoped that for your sake it would be worth my time.""The rebel rogues have gathered all their forces and they are returning to Rogue Nation even as we speak.""Ah yes, those Rebels. I had begun to think they had refused my order to return back to Rogue Nation.""Y-you knew about this, my lady?. Vaskra stammared, t
