Mag-log in“There you go”. Alora said, after applying the last touch of makeup on Ava’s face you look stunning” Alora commended Ava after taking a close look at her.
Ava was stunned when she finally looked at the mirror, she couldn’t believe that it was her very own reflection she was looking at. She had always known that Alora was very good at fashion but this was just unbelievable.
“Thank you so much Alora, you’ve helped me out. I don’t know what I’d ever do without you by my side
“How many times do I have to remind you that you don’t have to thank me for every single thing I do for you, we’re friends and we always have to look after each other, besides I’ve always loved fashion and I’m kinda thinking of taking it as a profession”. Alora added.
“If one day I become a famous designer, I will choose you to be my model”. Alora teased and they both laughed. The sound of a loud bell signified the beginning of the mate selection and the end of their daydreaming.
They made their way out of the house and headed straight to Moon Square. They had wasted a lot of time on make-up and petty conversation that they had lost track of time. It was almost midnight, the streets were bubbling, filled with lots of decorations and performances. The moon was unusually bright that evening, it was shining more than it did before, everyone was celebrating and the air was magical.
“I feel like there is something strange going on this evening, just look at how the moon is shining brightly, this has never happened before, do you think it’s a sign that something bad is going to happen? Ava asked, unable to shake off the uneasiness she had been feeling since they left the house.
“Oh come on Ava, do you have to be such a pessimist”. Alora asked. “Look, the whole pack is celebrating and the atmosphere is just extraordinary, I think that the moon’s presence is an auspicious sign that tonight will be one of the most unforgettable days of our lives, so just chill and enjoy the night cause you never know, you might never get this chance again”.
Aloha’s optimism always had a way of rubbing off positively on Ava’s mood, but this time it didn’t work, no matter how hard she tried to shake off the negative feelings, it always came back to disrupt her happy thoughts.
Ava’s deep thought was interrupted when Alora took her hands and before she knew it, they were dancing under the moonlight. A few minutes later, they were both laughing and trying to catch their breath.
“Do you feel better now” Alora asked as they continued their journey to Moon Square.
“If I say no, are you gonna make me dance again”.
“Probably” Ava teased and they both laughed
They continued talking and walking until they finally arrived at Moon Square.
The atmosphere in Moon Pack was breathtaking. The decorations outside was nothing compared to the one inside the main square. All the wolves were gathered everyone dressed with elegance. The celebration had already started, loud music filled the air, drinks were served and the dance floor was filled with entertainers but the Alpha was nowhere in sight.
Ava and Alora found a good spot to sit and Alora ordered a drink for both of them.
“This is crazy right”. Alora spoke at the top of her.
“What?” Ava replied trying to understand what Alora had just said. The loud music was interfering with their hearing.
“The party, I said it’s crazy, they went all out for the preparations” Alora said, speaking louder.
“Yeah, you’re right about that. The future Luna is going to be lucky,” Ava commented.
A group of girls passed by, they said hello to Alora but ignored Ava as if she was invisible. It’s better than being insulted all over again she consoled herself. Alora excused herself from the table and followed her friends leaving Ava all alone.
Ava didn’t feel comfortable sitting alone without Alora, she was already getting bored. The selection was about to begin and Alora was nowhere in sight.
“Whatsup freak” A familiar voice called from behind. Ava turned to see Madison and her group of minions standing behind her.
“Please, I don’t want any trouble”. Ava pleaded. Madison moved closer and dragged Ava by the hair.
“You don’t want any trouble? Then why did you show up here in the first place, you’ve got some nerves coming here, acting all high and mighty. It seems you have forgotten your place in this pack so why don’t I give you a little reminder? Madison pushed Ava to the floor at that time, the other pack members had already taken notice of what was happening but all they could do was laugh at her.
Ava was down on the cold floor, crying her eyes out as the others made mockery of her, she wondered what sort of joy they derived from making her life miserable.
A loud growl was heard from a distance announcing the arrival of the Alpha. The members of the Moon pack all took their positions to greet the Alpha.
Ava pulled herself together and tried to stand up, she was about to fall again when a hand caught her.
“What the heck happened to you while I was gone?” Alora asked, supporting Ava to stand on her feet.
“It’s nothing, I accidentally slipped and fell that’s all”. Ava lied trying to cover up the bullying.
“Accident? Take a good look at yourself, you can barely stand on your own and you tell me it’s an accident” Alora scolded. “Tell me, who did this to you am going to make sure they don’t get away with it”. Alora threatened.
“You don’t have to worry so much about me, I already told you I’m fine and if anyone dares to bully me, I’ll tell you right away, I promise”. Ava said giving a reassuring smile.
All the girls between the age of 18-20 were instructed to stand in a queue, Ava and Alora joined the other girls and stood in the line, Ava was nervous her palms were sweaty and her heart was beating fast, Damon was the first to pick since he was the Alpha.
He walked past a lot of girls and he was getting closer to where Ava was standing, Ava couldn’t help but admire him, he was very handsome and she had always had a crush on him since she was young. Though they’d never spoken to each other, it felt like he hated her for some reasons unknown to her.
"Ahk!". Helixia jolted awake, breathing heavily. She looked around and immediately realized that she was inside Mount Shadowsphire but couldn't remember how she ended up here. She slowly makes her way out of the chamber to try and understand what was going on. Outside, Wolves move about freely, going about their business filled with happiness and peace. There's no sign of the war, nor any evil miasma in the air."What is going on here?" she thought to herself, confusion clouding her mindA gentle hand touches her arm. She turns, making her turn immediately."Tyron". She sighed in relief "It's just....."But before she can say anything more, Tyron pulls her into a tight embrace. "I was afraid you would never wake up, and I would never get a chance to tell you how much I love you, my dear Ava Sterling."The world around them seems to pause,Helixia take a few steps backwards, her hands trying to find something, a
One Life, Last ChanceShadow AbyssTyron had fallen on both knees, his hands resting on his side as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth."In all my years of fighting against the Guardians, I must say you truly put up a good fight, warrior. If you choose to surrender now, I will spare your life."Tyron angrily spits on the floor. "If you're going to kill me, just do it now I die with no regrets.""Very well then".Tyron smiles, slowly closing his eyes waiting for the final blow that would put him out of his misery. Moments pass but nothing seemed to happen"Am I already dead?" he wonders.Tyron slowly opens his eyes, and there standing in front of him was Helixia wearing a flowing white and silver robe. Her brown eyes had become pure white matching her long silver hair cascading down her shoulder. The Moonshaped birthmark glowing on her forehead."Helixia? Is it really you, or am I dead".
Human RealmAfter three days of kneeling at her father's memorial, something inside Helixia knew she had to make amends with her mother while she still had time. The dark energy from the Shadow Abyss had already spread out across the entire realm, causing chaos and panic among the people, both humans and werewolves alike running for safety. When she finally reaches the clinic, the door is left open, Inside, everything is scattered papers thrown across the floor, herbs scattered around."Mother!" Helixia calls out but no one repliesShe continued searching around for any sign of light energy but there was none, it was as if Solaris had disappeared into thin air."This is all your fault Helixia, If only you hadn't been so stubborn, mother wouldn't be missing." She thought to herself "Miss Pretty Fairy". Zoe, the young girl her mother had taken as a disciple comes rushing into the clinic. Helixia quick
Mount Shadowsphire Gaya stands at the edge of the mountain Sirius, her eyes already tired from watching the sky all day long."If you fall, I promise I won't even try to save you," Tyron said, standing beside her."Ha! you mortals are so weak and fragile, how could someone like me have any expectations from a kind that always relies on us for every single thing they need". Gaya shot backTyron remains silent for a moment, clearly seeing through Gaya's nervousness "You don't have to worry about her, she's strong enough to protect herself"Gaya turns her head slightly, a worried look on her face. "Maybe that's what worries me the most, The fact that she's too strong. Sometimes, she may even need protection from herself."The wind around them seemed to stand still for a moment, A bright light suddenly descends, clearing away the dark sky "Finally, you've returned!". Twilight Oasis"I always knew this day would come," Arcturus sits calmly "When you would find out the truth about everything we had done. I just hoped it would be later... rather than sooner.""So it's true," Helixia's voice echoed through the Oasis "The celestials are the ones who were responsible for this whole trouble we're in and you've lied to me about it from the very beginning""As much as I would like to deny it, I know now that you're ready to find out the truth but if only you agree to calm down and let me explain everything". Arcturus gestured her to sit but she ignored him instead "You've had centuries to explain. Centuries to tell me the truth. Instead, you chose to lie - just like everyone else!""You have to believe that everything that happened was all a mistake. Creating morag, making the deal with Nature's law all of it was a mistake. And now we are left to pay the consequences." he sighed deeply
Midnight Tavern Helixia sat with her legs crossed, her back straight, and her eyes fixed on the woman standing before her, who looked like she'd seen a ghost or maybe killed one. "When the shopkeeper told me you wanted to see me, I couldn't believe my own ears, I actually thought you had died in the dream world". "Come on now, Ava. It's only been weeks, and yet you seem to have forgotten all about me." Kaira said, her evil smile plastered on her face. "You're Just a lowly spirit Morag used to torment me during my trials, you have no right to call me by my name or even look me in the eyes. So if I were you, I'd watch what I say to me". Helixia warned "My apologies.... Divine Helixia". She slowly bows her head, her eyes burning with hate. "Since you have already returned from the dream world and managed to come back here, it only means that Morag already knows that I'm awake." H
