Luna's POV

After Liam walks away, I can hear the girls around me start to hiss and whisper among themselves. Their voices carry on the wind, sharp and full of jealousy.

"Did you see that? Luna and Liam?"

"I can't believe he kissed her."

"What does he see in her anyway?"

"She's nothing special."

Their words sting a little, but I find that I truly don't care about their reactions. For once in my life, I'm not worried about what others think of me. What happened between Liam and me was real and beautiful, and no amount of jealous whispers can take that away from me.

I gather my things and head back toward the cabins, my heart still racing from everything that just happened. The feel of Liam's lips on mine, the way he looked at me with such admiration, the promise that we'll continue training together when we get back to school—it all feels like a dream.

I need to tell someone about this. I need to share this incredible moment with the one person who will understand and be genuinely happy
