Mrs Williams’ voice rose to a shout, her words tumbling out in a furious torrent. “What the hell is wrong with you? Are you trying to burn me to death serving me this kind of tea?”

“I’m sorry, Mrs Williams. I didn’t know it was too hot for you,” Fulvia whispered, her voice trembling as her words spilled out in a rapid, breathless stream.

“You and you, come here,” Mrs Williams barked, pointing to two maids standing by the corner. Her eyes burned with disgust as she sneered at Fulvia. “Didn’t I tell you not to call me mother? Your own mother must have been so disgusted by you that she committed suicide.”

The maids hesitated, fear flashing in their eyes.

“What are you waiting for?” Mrs Williams screamed. “Teach her a lesson for me.”

She crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes cold and unfeeling. “Punish her harshly,” she ordered.

“Is he the one out of his mind, or is it you? Are you sure you heard the room number correctly?” Jasmine asked.“Yes, I did,” the staff replied.“Ha, ha, ha… this is funny. Jasmine, stop asking questions and let the server go. Besides, it’s not our business,” the second receptionist said.“That’s true. Why am I even disturbing her? It’s her job, not mine. You can go now. Don’t let me affect your work,” Jasmine said softly to the server.A few minutes later.Knock. Knock.“Your food is here, sir,” the server announced.“Come in. What took you so long? What’s wrong with this hotel service today? It’s usually fast. God knows what’s wrong with them this time,” Bobby complained.“I’m sorry, sir and madam. It’s my fault for bringing the food late. We wanted the food to suit your taste, so we took our time preparing it,” the server said politely. Her eyes lingered on Bobby for a moment.Wait a minute… judging from how this man looks and what he’s wearing, he’s exactly the type the receptioni

  • Rejected by him, desired by all    Private Talks and Promises

“Yes, he did. He told me he has malaria. If the doctor hadn’t spoken while I was calling Dad, he was planning to keep it from me,” Fulvia said softly.“Oh... it’s just malaria? Then why is sir coughing out blood? Oh... maybe it’s just a dry cough,” Emily thought quietly.“Why did you ask, Emily? Is it more than malaria? Is Dad hiding something?” Fulvia asked, concern lacing her voice.“No, young mistress. Sir didn’t tell us what was wrong. I asked the doctor, but he said he can’t disclose patient information. I was worried, that’s why I asked if Sir told you,” Emily replied carefully.“Fulvia, you see I’m okay now, right?” Mr Kingsley asked, his voice steady but faintly weak.“Yes, Dad. But promise me you won’t keep anything from me again,” Fulvia said gently.“Alright, Fulvia... Henry, I want to see you in private,” Mr Kingsley said, his tone serious.“Dad, you’re just getting better. You and Henry can stay; we’ll excuse you,” Fulvia said softly, her hand brushing against his arm.“O

“Yes... I’m sure it’s exactly the scent of the perfume. Is it unisex. I should stop overthinking,” Molly thought as she walked toward the hotel.“Good afternoon, madam. How may we help you?” one of the receptionists asked.“Afternoon. I’m here for someone,” Molly replied.“Alright, madam. What’s the person’s name so I can check their room number?” the receptionist asked.“One moment. Excuse me,” Molly said, dialing Bobby’s number.“Hello, babe. What’s up? Are you still coming?” Bobby asked.“What do you mean still coming? I’m already at the hotel. What’s your room number?” Molly asked.“Oh, so quick? Wait, I’ll come pick you up now,” Bobby said.“Okay, be fast. I’m waiting,” Molly said and hung up.“Madam, the room number...” the receptionist began.“Don’t worry, he said he’s coming,” Molly replied.“Alright, madam. You may take a seat over there,” the receptionist said.“Thank you,” Molly said as she sat down.*****“We are here, sir and madam,” the driver announced.Mia got out firs

  • Rejected by him, desired by all    A Daughter’s Concern

Fulvia stood from where she had been kneeling. “Thank you so much, Young Master, for honoring my mother and paying your respects. Mia... I’m done. Let go,” she said softly.“Elora, have you contacted a cab?” Mia asked the second maid accompanying Fulvia.“Yes, Mia. The driver will be here soon,” Elora replied.Riing! Riing!“Madam, you have a call. It’s your father. I’ve picked it up,” Mia said, handing the phone to Fulvia.“Hello, Dad,” Fulvia said.“Hello, my little princess... wait, why does your voice sound so dull? Did Henry mistreat you? Did he do anything wrong? Are you not happy?” Mr Kingsley asked anxiously.“Finally, Dad, you’re giving me a chance to answer,” Fulvia said, her voice trembling slightly. “No, Dad. No one is mistreating me. I’m absolutely fine… but I’m very sad you didn’t come to mother’s burial ground.”“Fulvia, I’m sorry. I’ve been very busy lately. It’s not that I forgot or didn’t want to...” Mr Kingsley began, but he was interrupted.“Mr Kingsley, you need t

  • Rejected by him, desired by all    Chaos and Calm

Henry exhaled, frustrated. “I’ll just open the door and find out,” he muttered before pushing it open. The room was empty.“Not in her room... Where is she?” he asked himself quietly.“Young Master, I hope there is no problem. Do you need anything, sir?” a maid rushed in, concerned.“Where is my wife?” Henry demanded.“Young Master, Madam went out,” the maid replied nervously.“Where did she go? And why alone?” he asked sharply.“I heard from the maid accompanying Madam that they went to the cemetery. Madam wanted to pay her respects to her late mother,” the maid said.Thank God... it’s not that she’s angry and ran to her father’s house. Henry felt a wave of relief wash over him.“Young Master? Young Master...” the maid kept calling, but his thoughts were far away.“What is it?” Henry snapped.“I-I only wanted to ask if I should get going... or if you need anything else,” she stuttered.“Not really. But... did they tell you which cemetery?” Henry asked.“No, Young Master. But I heard

  • Rejected by him, desired by all    Beneath the Calm

“What is it, Roselia? Why are you shouting like that? I admit many of us are scared of blood, but it’s not much. Young Master must have hurt himself by mistake,” Allison said softly.“Oh Allison, you don’t understand. This is a sign that someone lost her virginity here last night,” Roselia whispered, her eyes wide.“What do you mean, Rose?” Allison began, but Roselia cut her off.“You can’t understand. You’re inexperienced. After all, you’re only nineteen,” Roselia said sharply.“I’m not a kid, Rose? I’m an adult too! The reason I’m asking is because a lady lost her virginity here, where Young Master slept last night,” Allison replied defensively.“See? The so-called adult doesn’t even get it. Young Master spent the night with someone... and she was a virgin,” Roselia said, shaking her head.“Ohhh... so tell me, Rose. Does that mean the lady lost her virginity by mistake, or did she give it to Young Master herself? He didn’t force her to bed, right?” Allison asked, curiosity shining i
