Varkos***

I stood beneath the enormous crystal chandelier, surrounded by the glow of hundreds of candles, casting a warm, romantic glow over the room.

White roses covered the tables, arranged in elegant centerpieces beside gleaming gold cutlery. Gold ribbons cascaded from the walls, while soft music floated through the grand ballroom.

Everywhere I looked, I saw smiling faces, raised champagne glasses, and people congratulating me on a marriage I had never wanted.

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    Happily Ever After

Ginnie ***The ceremony carried on beautifully as one of the elders spoke of loyalty, family, and the bond between two souls who chose to stand together. He reminded us that love was not proven by the absence of hardship, but by the willingness to return to each other after hardship had tested every promise. When it was time for our vows, Varkos stepped closer, holding both my hands in his."I choose you when life is easy,” he began, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. “I choose you because you have my heart, Ginnie. Today, tomorrow, and for every day the moon allows me to see your face."A tear slipped down my cheek, but he wiped it away with his thumb before continuing. When it was my turn, I looked at the man standing before me and thought of every version of him I had known."I used to think love meant holding on, even when it hurt," I said quietly. “There were days when I thought I would never forgive you, and nights when I wondered if loving you had been the greatest mistake of

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    A Love Worth Fighting For

Ginnie ***Varkos was dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit, his dark hair neatly combed back, and his silver cufflinks shining beneath the morning light. He looked every inch the powerful Alpha he was supposed to be, except for the fact that he was currently losing an argument with a little boy who barely reached his waist."You're doing it wrong, Dad!” Jayden’s voice rose sharply, folding his arms over his tiny chest.Varkos looked down at him. "I'm doing it right.”Jayden tilted his head, studying him with the seriousness of someone making an important decision. "Angel Ginnie said you have to look handsome today.""And you don't think I look handsome?"Jayden shook his head in disapproval. Varkos looked genuinely offended as he crouched in front of him, bringing their faces to the same level."Listen carefully, young man.” He said quietly. “There are very few people in this world who would dare tell me I don't look handsome."Jayden’s smile widened. "But I'm not scared of yo

Ginnie***Kenna's arm was still locked around my throat, the gun pressed cold and hard against my forehead. Across the room, Varkos stood completely still, his golden eyes fixed on me as he slowly lowered his claws.“If you let Ginnie go…” Varkos took a slow step toward Kenna. “I’ll stay with you.”The moment the words left his mouth, her entire body went rigid. Kenna's eyes began to shine with tears as he took another careful step forward. “What?”“You've wanted me to choose you for years, right?” Varkos’s eyes never left hers. “I’ll give you what you always wanted. Just let Ginnie go.”“You're saying…” Her lips trembled. “You'll come back to me?”Varkos nodded. “Yes.”For some ridiculous reason, hearing those words made something twist inside my stomach. Not because I believed him.But because I knew exactly what he was sacrificing to save me.Varkos was playing on the one thing that had controlled Kenna for years—her obsession with having him choose her.And it was working.I co

Ginnie***“Stop!”The word burst out of me as I stormed into the room.Adrain’s head snapped toward me. His eyes widened as he stared at me, almost as though he couldn't believe I was actually here.Varkos was on the floor, surrounded by armed men, his clothes stained with blood, while Kenna stood calmly behind him.For a moment, neither of us spoke. My gaze briefly shifted to Lady Ravenna’s lifeless body before returning to Adrian.I had barely taken a step farther inside when one of Adrian's men immediately moved in front of me.“Stay back.”“Move.”He raised his gun to my forehead.“Don't make me—”“I said move!”I tried to push past him, but another man caught my arm.“Let her go!” Varkos's voice suddenly thundered through the room. “Ginnie, don't come any closer!”He was still struggling against the men holding him, but his strength was clearly gone. Meanwhile, Adrain stood several feet away, watching me with an unreadable expression.“So…” A cruel smile touched his lips. “Seems

Ginnie***I woke with a sharp pain pounding behind my eyes. The ceiling above me blurred as I stared at it, trying to force my mind to catch up with my body. My limbs were heavy, and every part of me seemed to ache as though I had been thrown against a wall.I pushed myself upright so quickly that pain shot through my head, forcing me to grip the mattress. The last thing I remembered was Adrain standing above me, his arms holding me down no matter how hard I fought. My eyes widened as a terrifying realization dawned. Adrain must have gone to attack the Blood Moon Pack Villa.Which meant…Varkos was in grave danger.Without thinking, I threw the blanket aside and jumped from the bed. My legs nearly gave way beneath me, but I caught myself against the bedside table and forced myself forward. The moment I reached the door, I grabbed the handle and twisted it. The handle refused to move.“Is anybody there?” I slammed my palm against the door. “Open the door!”No response.I hit the door

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    The Half-Brother

Varkos***Adrian stood several feet away, surrounded by armed men. A faint, knowing smile curved across his lips as he held my gaze.“Why are you doing this?” I asked, my fingers curling into fists at my sides. “Answer me!”Adrain didn’t answer. Instead, his gaze shifted from me toward Lady Ravenna. He slowly lowered the gun from me and pointed it toward her instead.“Why don’t you tell your dear son that I’m his step-brother?”The moment the words left his mouth, everything inside me went completely still. For a moment, I could only stare at him, my brain struggling to process what he had just said.Stepbrother?A quiet laugh escaped me, but there was no trace of humor in it.“What kind of sick joke is this, Adrian?”“Do I look like I’m joking?”Silence settled between us as I searched his face, looking for the slightest crack that would prove he was lying.Nothing came.My body moved on instinct as I crossed the room and walked toward Lady Ravenna.“Mum? What is he talking about?”L

Ginnie**As I slid into the corridor, my bare feet made almost no sound on the cold marble.
