Chapter 56

Avery was led through a dimly lit passage with the guard just ahead of her.

“Why don't you drop me into one of the many cells here”? Avery asked in confusion.

“You'll be alone in this cells”. He replied. “It'll be better if you have companions with you in your jail cell”. He added.

“But what if I want to stay alone”. Avery said.

“I'm sorry, I can't let that happen”. The guard replied with a shake of his head. “It's our policy to make sure a cell is filled before putting prisoners in the next one”.

At this point, they arrived before a cell in which there were no light going in.

“This will be your new home”. The guard said before opening the door. “Get in”. He ordered.

Avery hearing that, walked into the cell calmly after which the guard shut the door behind her and left. Looking around the cell, she noticed a protruding platform with her wolf sight which had adjusted to the darkness in the cell. Getting closer, she saw that it was a toilet.
