Rex’s POV

The crowd around us had grown thicker, smiles lighting every face as whispers rippled low through the field. My eyes scanned the sea of people until I finally found the face I was looking for.

Lucy pushed through the crowd with Alpha Charles at her side, her eyes watery and full of relief.

Aries let out a low howl the moment his gaze locked on them. The sound tore from his chest, raw and filled with emotion. I joined him, our howls blending and echoing through the field until it vibrated in my bones.

Warriors rushed forward, dropping bundles of clothes at our feet. Aries snatched his with his teeth before retreating into the trees. I followed, shifting back in seconds and tugging the clothes on. When I emerged, Aries was waiting, hand outstretched, eyes softened.

“We’re home,” he said with a smile.

I clasped his hand, nodding. “Your parents must’ve missed you all.”
