The tension as we made our way towards the hospital was becoming suffocating. As much as we were in the open, my father’s aura was impacting us. I could feel it. The only one who seemed unbothered was Miranda. She maintained her cool, while my mother looked to my father confused by his behaviour.

“So, tell me about Eric,” Miranda says as we approach the hospital entrance. “He was always an inquisitive little boy. Loved everything and everyone,” my mother beams. “He is very artistic,” my mother adds. I hear my father scoff. When I look at him, he looks away from me not wanting to be heard.

“He sounds like a lovely young man,” Miranda says as we come to the doors of the hospital. “Hmmm,” Miranda says as she approaches the doors. “It seems there is already some spell casting at the doors of the hospital.
