Alpha Carter POV

As we sit and go over the situation with the rogues, my mind wanders to Elizabeth. I wonder how she is making out with Kinsley. I had not heard from them, so I figured things were going well. I was grateful Kinsley was here. She would help Elizabeth adjust. Hopefully sooner than later.

I had a message from one of my Elder’s demanding my attention to the serious matter of choosing a mate. I had not advised them that I had found my mate yet, but I would have to do so soon, to calm them from demanding I select a chosen mate.

I turn my attention back to Stan and realize he has asked me a question. “I am sorry, what?” I ask him as he smiles at me. “Thinking about your mate?” he teases me. Shaking my head, “How can I not think about her? She is perfect and I want to be the best I can be for her,” I reply.

“You are the best thing for her. I can see how she is already starting to come out of her shell,” he tells me to

I don’t like Tamara and it’s a shame and also a relief she’s showing her true colours now. But I’m afraid she’ll keep pumping wolfsbane in our Luna’s bloodstream. Kinsley is king of slow… but I still like her.

Oh I hope Kinsley heard that Elizabeth said she can’t swim and then hope that she saw tamara pushing Elizabeth into the lake after!

    Good day Everyone I wanted to share a quick update. I am working on the draft for Eric's story and expect to start it the week of May 6, 2024. I hope you will be as excited as I am to write the story. His will have a couple interesting twists but suffice to say he will find his mate. The question ... will he accept her :) After that we will see where we go but I do want to write the stories for the pups after they are grown. Any feedback is always welcome.     Elizabeth’s POV The past six months had been a rush of emotions. Watching CJ grow was unbelievable. He was growing fast already walking.
