Chapter 22 - Nightmares

Elizabeth POV

We finally made it back to our room. I had gotten ready for bed quickly, after taking a shower. I blew dried my hair once I figured out how to use the dryer. I am not sure how to style my hair but at least I did not have to go to bed with wet hair as I did most nights.

I walk out and see the lights are turned down. I see Carter is sitting on the bed waiting for me. He stands and walks over to me, “Here, I need you to take an antibiotic before we go to bed,” he says handing me a glass of water with the pill. I take it and quickly swallow the pill looking at him.

He is wearing basketball shorts without a shirt. I can feel my heart beating faster looking at my tempting mate. Carter smiles down at me, “Like what you see mate?” he teases as my face goes beet red. I look at him, “Mmmm,” I say surprising him as I look up at him boldy. His eyes glaze over, and I can see his wolf trying to come to the front.
