Alpha Velvet

Aiden kept staring at him, finding it funny that the man would think he knew his alpha. He had mentioned her name with so much pride and Aiden was sure he had expected him to cower at the sound.

But Aiden was not in any way afraid, in fact, he was intrigued. Intrigued by this pack with a female alpha.

"Let him go, Kunata!" Alpha Velvet sighed.

Kunata finally let him go, but not without squeezing his shirt a little bit tighter and growling into his face. Aiden adjusted his tunic and leaned back to the heap of stones, his golden-brown eyes on the alpha who was slowly approaching him.

"I don't think you should come close to him, alpha. I strongly believe he is dangerous."

"Stop it, Kunata. I can take care of myself, remember?"

They were talking about him as if he wasn't there. Aiden wanted to yell at them that he was right by their side and would appreciate it if they let him be but it seemed like the words had solidified in his throat, making it difficult to get them out.
