What had I done?

I could not get this question out of my mind. I had long left Nicole's house yet the realisation of what I had done kept hunting me. I could not believe I had killed someone and guilt was beginning to eat me up.

It had never been my intention to kill her; my sole reason for going to her was to get more information about Aiden's whereabouts, but never to kill her.

I could not believe I had done that. I could still remember the look in her eyes when she breathed her last, the movement of her body and how deep her nails had pierced into my skin.

I was not sure I could ever wipe that memory from my head. It was a burden I would forever carry to my grave — which was actually strange.

This wasn't the first time I was killing someone. Once I had sneaked to the forest where a hot fight was going on between our pack and some other pack whose name I could not remember.

The Blood Moon pack had fought so many battles in the past with different packs who thought the
