Aiden groaned loudly the moment he woke up. The ache in his head was terrible and he groaned again, shutting his eyes tightly as he tried to rid himself of the pain.

There was an Uproar; he could tell from the noise, that someone was shaking his roughly.

"Aiden, are you okay?"

That was Velvet. He could pick out her voice even amid the noise and he groaned again, trying to sit up. The grip on his shoulders was harder now and whosoever it was that was holding him tried to help him up.

"What's going on?" He finally opened his eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Thank goodness you are okay. I almost lost my mind." Alpha Velvet let out a relieved sigh, still holding him tightly by the shoulder as she cuddled him to her chest.
