CARA

It’s a beautiful morning, with the sun high up in the sky . I can hear the distant chirping of birds as I stare out from the taxi. We get to my destination and i highlight. I enter the building and find everyone in the office in their best mood as usual beaming with happiness. I woke up late today due to my constant tossing trying to find sleep. I have not seen people so happy to work like the workers at Johnson’s Ace. I am determined to make the best out of today despite how weird and gloomy my night was .

I enter the building dreading being in the same space with Liam after yesterday's humiliation, I see Veronica smiling from ear to ear.

“Guess what?”

“Mr Johnson has moved you to Legal. I'm so happy for you. This simply means a higher pay.”

“I fake a smile knowing exactly why I was moved.”

“You don’t look too happy about it.”

“I am. It came as a shock so I’m still trying to process it. I’m so glad.”

“Oh ok. Once you’ve gathered your things let me know so I can show you your spa
