Second Contract Off!

The cool tension in the restaurant caused some other customers to walk out. They were scared, thinking something was going to happen, especially with the men that stood with guns. Frederick sat with Michelle alone. Rose was taken to another seat.

"I heard you move out and quit from your job. Your friend also quit because of you, Michelle" he said.

Michelle rolled her eyes. He already knew her real name.

"I also heard you looked for me. Why, if I may ask" She replied. He scoffed.

"Of course, I did. You have to pay me back for what you did that night" he said, drawing his face closer to her. Michelle moved back, leaning her back on the chair.

"What did I do that night?" She asked.

"I may be known as a national playboy but, I have my rules when it comes to ladies. I had my first sex at fifteen but, I've never kissed anyone till that night. I reserved it for my future bride" he said.

Michelle shot her mouth wide open. She hurriedly grabbed her glass of water and sipped from it.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"We will meet tonight, the same time, the same venue. Don't be late" he said.

"Hey! I can't come that late. I..."

"I'll send my driver to pick you up. Text me your address"

"I'll meet you there. I don't want you sneaking around my house" Michelle said.

"I'm Frederick Lloyd. I'll know your address no matter what. Ah yes, your tiny friend is invited" he said and touched Michelle's face as he walked away. She felt shivers going down her body. He left, with his men. Rose rushed to Michelle's chair.

"What was that?"

"Too much eye contact. I was his first kiss. Rose! What the hell do I do?" She asked.

"I heard I was invited. What the..."

"Come, let's leave here. People are staring" Michelle said.

They left. She went to pick Kelly and Chloe from school before heading home.

They were silent because they didn't know Rose.

.

But, when they got home. Rose prepared dinner for them. Michelle watched as they chatted in the dinning room as they ate. She was trying to reach Francis. He wasn't home.

She groaned and join them at the dinning table.

"Your dad isn't picking up. Rose and I are leaving soon"

"We'll be fine at home" Chloe said.

"I know you're old enough to stay alone but, I can't leave you. I can't be a careless mother" she said.

"Why don't you call aunt Ginny to stay with us" Kelly said.

"Uh..." Michelle exchanged glances with Rose. She texted her sister and few minutes later, she was there.

She brought sweet and snacks. She squealed happily when she saw Kelly and Chloe.

"Stay with them, I didn't say to keep them awake all night. They have school tomorrow" Michelle said.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of them. Come girls. We're going to play a game your mother and I played when we were little..." Ginny said, walking the girls to their room.

Rose and Michelle stared at each other again.

"Let's get ready" she said. They entered her room and dressed up. Rose wore Michelle's dress. She was excited to go to a club. She wouldn't have had this chance if she's still working at the restaurant.

Just while they were getting dressed, they heard a car honking outside.

"Argh! They found my house. Let's go!"

.

They got into the car and the driver took them to the club.

Rose squealed happily.

"Do you know how much I've been dying to come to this club? It's the most expensive club ever"

Michelle smirked. A man in black led them to the VIP lounge. Rose couldn't get her eyes off the strippers.

They got to the lounge and found Frederick.

"Hey, my pretty girls. Welcome" he said and hugged Rose. Michelle didn't let him hug her.

"Why did you invite us? Do you want to break any relationship again?" She asked.

"Not really. I just wanted to see you again. I have a surprise for you. Come with me. Rose, have fun"

"Sure" Rose sat down on front of the filled up table. Frederick took her to a balcony. They could view a lot from up there. The view was so pleasing and beautiful.

"I owned this club when I was 18. My dad gave me a land as a birthday gift and I built this. Isn't it great?" He asked.

"Why did you bring me up here?" Michelle asked.

"Um..I know it's too early to ask but, would you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

Michelle tried her best not to laugh but, she couldn't hold it. She laughed out loud, covering her mouth stylishly.

"You don't know anything about me, yet... You want to make me your girlfriend"

"We could get to know each other when the relationship starts. You won't live in your shabby house anymore. You'll be with me and we'll stay together. My parents would love you, I swear" he smiled.

"I can't" she said. Frederick frowned and started walking closer to her. She moved back till her back hit the wall. She didn't have anywhere to go again.

"You kissed me, remember? You have to pay for that kiss by you becoming mine" he said.

"But, I'm..." She tried to talk. He slammed his hand on the wall close to her. She shivered in fear. He grabbed her waist, rubbing his body against hers. She was breathing hard, maintaining eye contact with him.

"Michelle, you're going to be my girlfriend starting from now. You'll move in with me and..."

"And that won't happen!"

They heard another voice from the side.

They turned their neck and saw Trevor.

Michelle heaved a breath of relief when she saw Trevor.

"Trevor Stonefield. It's nice to see you here, at my club" he said.

"I had to step foot inside this filthy place to retrieve what is mine" he said.

"Leave or I'll make you leave" Frederick groaned.

"Let go of her" he growled angrily.

Michelle hated the fact that these two men were arguing because of her. She saw as Trevor moved closer to Frederick.

"Let go of her hand" he said.

"No" Frederick replied. Trevor punched him right on the face. Frederick almost fell but, he let go of her hand.

"How dare you!" Frederick yelled and tried to retaliate. They were both fighting, they didn't know when Michelle left from there. She saw Rose stuffing her face.

"Rose, hurry! Let's go" she said.

"What?" Rose was confused. She took a plate of chicken laps and her bag. She ran out immediately.

"Taxi!" She yelled. They both entered the car.

They drove back home. Francis wasn't still back and it's after midnight already.

The kids were asleep. Ginny was working with her laptop when they entered.

"Ah, you're back" Ginny said, taking her working glasses off.

"Sorry I kept you here for too long sis. You can go before dad starts looking for you"

"I told him I won't be coming tonight. I'm tired of that house. He wants me to meet the groom and his family soon. I don't want to get married to the person I don't love"

"Well, two guys are fighting over me.."

"Who?" Ginny asked.

"Frederick Lloyd and Trevor Stonefield" Rose replied and threw herself on the couch.

"What in the actual fuck? You met Frederick Lloyd?"

"He wants to date me. I can't. I have two beautiful kids and a man I don't even know his whereabouts. My life is fucked up"

"I'm sorry sis" Ginny rubbed her sister's hand.

"Thanks. I need another favour from you"

"What is it?"

"Rose quit her job because of me. Can you help her?"

"Of course, my assistant is getting married soon. I'll need a replacement"

"Really?" Rose asked.

"Yes, well, the job isn't stressful. I don't have much on my schedule on weekends but, during..." Michelle went away while they talk. She changed her dress and washed the make up off her phone. She saw multiple missed calls from Frederick and Trevor.

She quickly terminate the contract between her and Frederick. He tried to force her into a relationship. Again, she tried to call Francis, but still no reply.

A soft groan escaped her lips. Her sister and friend slept in the house with her. They all left after eating breakfast and she dropped the kids off at school.

Rose has already been interviewed privately by Ginny. All that's left is for her to start the job.

.

.

Ginny got home that morning. Her parents were having breakfast.

"Good morning mom, good morning dad" she greeted them, heading upstairs.

"On Saturday..." She heard her father's voice and stopped.

"What?" She asked for confirmation.

"You're meeting with the groom's family on Saturday"

"Ah, sure Dad" she said and went to her room. She threw her bag away and fell on the bed.

"I wish I could disappear that Saturday" she said to herself.
