Chapter Seven

Leonel's POV

I waited for Miracle in the living room, pacing back and forth as I checked the time on my watch. It had been over thirty minutes since Calvin told her to come downstairs.

Nadia was sprawled out on the couch, laughing at me and blowing me a kiss.

"Your plan to make me jealous failed, baby. You think you can get rid of me easily?"

I gritted my teeth, trying to ignore her taunts. "You'll see. She's upstairs and will be here soon. I care about her and I want to make things work between us."

I stared at Nadia, hoping she got the hint, but she just chuckled and stood up, sauntering over to me.

"Come on, Leonel. We all know how I make you feel, don't we? You're addicted to me. Let's have some fun and forget about this so-called imaginary girlfriend of yours," she said, pressing her body against mine.

"I'm serious, Nadia. I don't want to do this anymore. Your dad and my family are business rivals," I said, my voice firm but she placed a hand on my crotch and I groaned.
