Thirty Five

Leonel's POV

I was so scared and Arielle's tears weren't helping matters. I quickly started the engine and drove as fast as I could to the hospital.

The whole time, I kept repeating to myself, "Please be okay, please be okay." My mind was racing with all sorts of scenarios, each one more frightening than the last. What if she had a concussion? What if there was a severe injury?

My heart pounded in my chest as I pulled up to the hospital. I quickly got out of the car and carried Miracle inside. The hospital was crowded and chaotic, but I didn't let that stop me. I pushed my way through the crowd and headed straight for the receptionist.

"I need a doctor! My girlfriend has fallen and she's hurt," I shouted.

The receptionist looked up at me with a look of concern and quickly picked up the phone. Within seconds, a team of medical professionals appeared and whisked Miracle away. I was left standing there, feeling helpless and scared.
