CHAPTER 9: STEAL & CHEAT

“Mr. Whitmore,” said his assistant, Steve Logan.

“Yes?” asked Mr. Whitmore, hiding in the shadow behind his desk.

“Do you think that there is any way that man will cheat you?”

“You know the men you wired the money to a few days ago.”
