I am afraid of going back

Larisa’s pov

The first thing I did was to immediately end Taylor's call, leaving me utterly shocked and compelled to stand up.

"Oh my god! No, no, Dylan, you can't do this to me. Why?" I exclaimed, unaware of my mum's inquiries.

"Larisa, what's wrong? What's the matter?" she asked, but I paid her no attention. I couldn't hear her at that moment. I sat down and pressed my fingers against my chin.

"What are you hiding? What's wrong?" My mum raised her voice, yet I wasn't willing to divulge what had just transpired. Then Taylor called me a second time, and I observed the phone ring and subsequently ended the call. My mum noticed and remained silent, gazing at me as I displayed an unusual demeanor. We both knew it was Taylor calling again, and my mum awaited an explanation for my distress.

"What's going on, Larisa? How many times do I have to ask?" she spoke up. To compound matters, my mum's phone began ringing, and I realized it was Taylor when she showed me the screen.
