Callan’s POV

We were 35,000 feet above the air when the plane was still shaking violently. I looked outside and the beautiful sunset had been covered by dark clouds flashing with lightning. The pilot apologized for his profanity and told us there was a sudden storm that came out of nowhere, so he would go around it.

Paige was shaking so I wrapped my arm around her as she continued to hide her face in my chest.

“It’s gonna be okay. Don’t think about the turbulence. Let’s play a game. It’s 8pm, what do you think Gwen is doing now? Let’s have a bet. We can call her as soon as we land and the loser has to do whatever the winner dares. Deal? I’ll go first. I think Gwen is playing roblox rainbow friends chapter 2 with Isaac.”

“Cobra Kai.”

“Cobra what?”

“It’s a show. I know for a fact she’s watching it with Isaac now. You lose.”

“Not yet, you cheater. They could always alter their schedule. We’ll call her when we land.”

I said, smiling because she was starting to get distracted.
