When Callan got out of the room, he headed downstairs and sat on the couch angrily. While he was sitting there, Nyx came to join him.

“I'm sorry if my actions might have affected your relationship with her; you know how I am and how I don't easily trust people.”

“All I want from you is your trust. I just told you to trust that both of us have nothing going on, that way you wouldn't have to bother suspecting that there is something going on.” Callan said to Nyx calmly.

Both of them were slowly squashing their beef. And Nyx hopes that by the time they are done having this conversation, their relationship will go back to the way it used to be, and she will make sure she doesn't give him a reason to get upset with her again. At least until they are finally married.

“I'm sorry.” Nyx apologized, giving him a childish, remorseful look. Callan had no other choice but to forgive her and try to fix his friendship with Kayla.
