3 . I didn't see that coming...

My eyes widen more when he said that was our Alpha . I stepped back to the counter as my brain is trying to register the words I heard from my uncle mouth . Looking back at him as he walked in the kitchen and he eyes are dead set on me and only me like I'm his next meal or something. Looking over to my sister's and the shocked look on their faces and turn my head to my uncle with the same look on his face too. Then all their eyes cloud over for a mindlink then they all got up and left the room with all worried looks on their faces. Once the door closed I look at the Alpha or should I said mate. He started walking to me and I felt the waves of power that rolled off him , but I didn't scare me it made me more relaxed and I close my eyes and inhaled his smell and it was so intoxicating that I didn't realize how close he as standing in front of me." What is your name ?" He asked , opening my eyes looking up at him " Katrina" I said trying to step to the side but he put his arms out to block me pinning me between him and the counter top . I furrowed my eyes at him confused as to what he was doing . He raised his eyebrow with the scar on it , tilted his head to the side alittle and grinned at me. " Where do you think your going " he said like he was daring me to move. " Your squishing me" I said trying not  to show him that his words didn't have reaction to me looking him an the eyes . I then felt him back up off me unpinning me from the counter I let out a breath walking back to side of the counter where my beer was I picked it up and I glup my beer an one go not caring that he was in the room or not.  I finished it " Better now " he said from behind me right in my ear making me stiffening .

I turned around to him " I think I'm need something stronger" I said . Now I wished I had never said that causing him to growl at me and his eyes darkened . Seeing his reaction to my words made me grin a little ,and when grin I bite my lip " I wouldn't do that " he said though gritted teeth .  I started walking backwards around the other side of the counter and he just watching me walking from him ,but he just watched me not even moving a inch . Like I was his preay and he was preator and my heart beat was so loud I could hear it and not paying attention I almost tripped over my own feet but I was able to catch myself . Arounding the counter I felt Shiva wine wanting to close to our mate I just ignored her so I can get out of here and away from him . Looking at him seeing that his eye are back to their normal color I relaxed a little still thinking about getting out this room because of  him all my nerves was all over the place. " Are you here for the party from another pack  ?" He asked me " Yes and No " I replied back making furrow his eyebrow " Yes I'm here for the party and no this my sister's birthday party " he raised his eyebrow an furrowed " I am the twins older sister " I said. " I wasn't aware they had a older sister " he said standing up from countertop crossing his arms. " I just got here three days ago " I said looking at the door that goes to the party. Then he growled louder scaring me I turned to see a sething Alpha Kane eyes black over looking dead at me . " What is his problem all of a sudden " saying to myself not caring that he was mad for whatever reason and look out the corner of my eye I see the back door from the kitchen to outside patio. Looking back up it him to see he is still mad about not knowing I lived here before, and never seen him the last three days because haven't been back in town the last couple of years. 

"Where have you been all this time then ?!" He said louder " I been a little bit of everywhere " I replied shrugging my shoulders .  

Then I just remembered the door from kitchen goes outside to the patio, now I'm thinking about making a run for it to my car . Fuck I mentally said my keys are in my purse. Looking to other side of the counter next to him was my damn purse I inward scream at myself. Well purse be damned I'm have to make a run for it  I said to myself . Zeroing on the situation in front of me with a very angry Alpha. I his studied his face and body language ,like he was waiting for an answer from me . "Umm......" was all that I could say because his scent was clouding my mind making Shiva howling for her mate and she started to fight me for control . I had to grab the counter an front of me for support while I was mentally fighting back Shiva . Started to pant hard trying not to give her control then the worst thing happened in the middle of all this, i felt my powers starting to come out . He was still looking at me but confused ,i stared back at him  " I am sorry" was all I could said  before i bolted out the back door onto the patio kicking off my shoes in the process as I head into the woods.

As I'm running I heard a loud thud from behind me like paws running towards me and fast too. 

" Fuck !" I said to myself as i starting to run faster. He is chasing me an his wolf form I had to think of something quick . I could say the disappearing spell but last time that happen I was where on the other side of the world . I have learn how to control it little since then . I picked up my speed and so did my mate ,and for a second I liked that he was chasing me and Shiva howled to that thought . Focusing back, I am still running I remove my sweater throwing far as I could so I move better , I keep running then I heard a louder howled behind me that made me stop " that's him telling us he found your sweater and he close too" Shiva said " Thank for the side note  " I said sarcastically. I continue to run a few moments later  I heard " He behind us ! " Causing me trip over a tree root and falling to the ground . Getting up I hear a growl from my right not seeing anything when I looked around. So I got up and I closed my eyes knowing I will regret this later I started to saying the spell. I have to focus on my destination to where I'm trying to go or i will be where on a farm somewheres else and we definitely don't want that to happen again . I notices his present again but an human form by his smell is different from his wolf from what smelled earlier. I'm trying to focus but his present is making Shiva whimper for him inside my head and it started to mess with me ." Where do your think your going ?" He said roughly sensing he was just a couple of feet away of me . I didn't reply as I was trying to keep focus on the spell. He started walking forward closer to me  making scent more stronger and harder for me to focus on the task at hand . 

Shiva running around and whimpers was starting to get on my nerves so I forced her to the back of my mind . Now that was one thing out of the way I could focus on the spell and Alpha Kane . When I open my eyes he was standing at least a foot away from me with his eyes on me . I felt his eyes rank over my body starting from my legs up to my thighs and his gaze was lingering to long on my sweet spot between my legs . I let out a low grow as warning for him not to test me ,the corner of his lips turn up a little to a grin . He turn his head to the side still look at me but he starts to walk around me . He was looking at me like he was studying or something. " My tattoos" I mentally said to myself as he is looking at what feels like every detail as he circles me . Finally coming full circle again he was standing there in front of me  " You still didn't answer my question, Where do your think you are going?" He said  . I had finally finish the spell in my head while he focused on my back side I had finished it . I closed my eyes and  smiled a little and respond " Don't worried I'm not going far " I stated then I open my eye and clapped my hands together and energy flow through around me . Making me disappearing in front him .Next thing I know I'm an a lake swim up for air " What the hell!" I scream when I catch my breath . I looked around and seen I was in the lake behind my house , I sighed an relief as I swam to the shore . Walking to the house wet and cold now and my dress now ruined I was thinking from tonight events have just decided that coming back home like this was not what I had in mind .
