False Alarm

VINCENT'S POV (the dad)

As l heard a gunshot and Alessa scream l quickly got into action as well as my oldest sons and my oldest nephews who were in the mafia to see what was going on.I looked at my father to see him comforting Alessa telling her it was just thunder .It looked like she believed it because she went back to rambling to my father while my father looked at me with a look saying that told me to figure out what was going on.

l quickly walked out the living room door followed by some of my sons and some of my nephews and l quickly went to a hidden safe and took out guns and handed some of them to my sons and nephews l mean we can't walk into a potential shoot out weaponless that would be stupid .

We quietly went to the kitchen as that was were the gunshot was from .

Don't judge when your born in the mafia world your bound to know these things .l can tell were a gunshot is from even if am 150 meters away l know right impressive my thoughts were cut off when l heard voices chatter.

As l looked through the door l saw some of my men in there which pissed me off"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE"I shouted l was really pissed off and the same goes for my nephews and sons who looked as if they had smoke coming out of their eyes .

Mainly because this gunshot scared my princess but also because l had to walk all the way here for a false alarm l thought there was an intruder in here just to see that these dumb men are the cause of it not only that what if my princess had not believed my father l did not want her knowing about this part of our lives maybe when she is old enough or never she is too pure l don't want her to think we are monsters .

My men looked at me with fear evident in their eyes l was really tempted to shoot them but l knew and l could always put my gun on silent which is a win they will be dead and my princess won't hear anything but l was not in the mood .

So when they did not answer l asked them again but this time l removed my gun off safety"AM NOT GONNA ASK YOU AGAIN SO WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON"which made them all flinch.l was starting to get annoyed and l think they noticed as one of the men who was a new recruit and l think his name is Flynn said while looking down"u um do n we were trying out the new guns which we saw in the weapons vault we thought it was on silent"he said which caused me to chuckle darkly and ask him

"Who asked you to touch my damm weapons"l asked codly which caused him to tremble what a chicken how did even survive the recruitment test he can't even manage his feeling.

When l saw he was not gonna respond anytime soon l spoke again"You really are testing my patience if you do not answer me immediately l will make sure you will never see the sun ever again "

This causes his eyes to widen as he quickly said"Am sorry don it was my idea l wanted to try using the new gun and accidently pressed the trigger "

This made me laugh bitterly and say "My daughter heard that gunshot and she was terrified and you think a sorry is gonna made it up for you reckless behaviour"l said l looked at the rest of the men who were standing with him and said"You all just stood there watching so you all will get what you deserve"

The rest of the men started shouting trying to justify themselves when a voice shouted"SILENCE"which sent a shiver down everyone spine including mine and only one person could to that and that person is my one and only father l would hate to be them right now.
