Ariel's POV…

The penetrative rays of light caressed my face continuously, getting me awake. I batted my lashes severally and stared tiredly at the ceiling.

But on second thought, this wasn't my room. I sprang from bed instantly, with my eyes roaming around the room. The smell of aspirin filled my nostrils, and I groaned. Where the fuck am I?

Come to think of it, what really happened yesterday? I shut my eyes close, allowing the memories to flood in—events of yesterday rushed in; the secret training room, leaving home to meet with Kevin in the park and the thugs. I gasped afterward.

The thugs! “One….stabbed me” I hushed, as I lifted my hand gently. Truly, there's been treated with a tube connected to my wrist. Oh, fuck!

I can't believe I got stabbed so easily. I pouted and fell heavily on the bed—I really need to start training. Not only that, but I'm so fucking weak.
