After verifying the doctor's reports at different hospitals. Giselle returned home to the Blue Ridge manor wearing a gloomy expression on her face.

she was saddened by the news of her pregnancy. This might be the best news she'd received many years but the reality behind this good news is what is killing her.

She braces herself and pressed on the doorbell. within a few seconds, Ms.sue slide the door open with a smile.

“You're back, Ma'am Giselle?” She as soon as the door was opened revealing her lean figure.

The gloomy expression on her face instantly changed into a pleasant one as she said, "Yes. I finish all of my work early. so, I thought of returning home to prepare a meal for the young master”.

She replied feigning a smile. she didn't want Ms. sue to ask her questions about her disrupted mood. otherwise, she might end up worrying about her and she would have no other choice but to tell her the whole truth.

Telling her the truth about her pregnancy would limit her chances of leaving.

Ms. sue took a few steps aside to allow her into the house. when Giselle was about to return to the upstairs, Ms. Sue scurried behind her and said.“ Young madam, Giselle, the young master had sent these over for you”. she said pointing in the direction of the table in the living room.“A delivery boy dropped by earlier to deliver these with a message that the young master instructed that it should be handed over to you specifically. Since you were not back yet, I took them for you with so much difficulty ” She went over and return with the bags. she gave them to her.

With confusion written all over her, Giselle couldn't understand why on earth Zayn would send her such expensive gifts.“Ms. Sue, are you it wasn't the wrong address? why would the Young master send such expensive gifts for me?” She asked, checking the package all over for a clue. her hands were shaky and doubts clung to her chest like a stubborn leech.

“I'm sure Ma'am, the delivery boy had specifically mentioned your name. I'm sure it's for you. you should check it, there should be a letter”

With slow moments, she began checking the package all over. Then, her gaze fell on a bright red letter posted on the corner of the package.

She picked it up and was about to read it. Then, she recalled something.

“I'll go upstairs first, Ms. Sue. I'll be back”.

With that, she left the living room bearing the gifts in her bosom. And her hands firmly holding the bag she had taken out with her.

She dropped the bags on the bed, the moment she stepped into her room. She had forgotten all about the gifts that were sent for her, so when she had set the bags on the bag. she was about to go back downstairs when her eyes fell on the bright red card, she walked over and took it.

She glanced at her wristwatch and saw that the time was fast spent. it was already 6:00 pm, and she was to be at the venue by 7:30 pm.

She still had about an hour to get ready. She rushed into the bathroom for a quick shower.

While taking her clothes off, her eyes darted around the entire room as she tries to memorize every cranny of the room.
