Chapter twenty six
Anna POV
Dave finally stopped crying and calmed down to tell me what had happened.
"It's Mr Adams. He has totally changed overnight." Dave said.
"Changed? How do you mean? Is he the reason you are crying?" I asked without waiting for a reply.
"He's now very mean to me." Dave said.
"What did he do?" I asked.
"Mother. He sent me for coffee and when I brought it to him he spat it on my face and complained that he didn't ask for sugar." Dave replied.
"That's a very bad thing for him to do. But then why did you add sugar to his coffee?" I asked.
"Mother. It's not my fault. He has always had his coffee with sugar. I don't know what changed all of a sudden." Dave replied.
"It's okay Dave. Everything will be alright. I'll go and speak with Mr Adams tomorrow." I assured him.
"Thank you mother." Dave said.
"No problem. I can do anything for my son." I replie
